“For a Motel 6 this was a fairly nice Motel. Large room and bed, lots of tables, microwave, etc. The only reason I deducted stars for service was because even though I stayed there on a cold weeknight in the middle of December and there were only like 5-10 guests in the entire 3 story building, for some reason the desk clerk gave me the last room at the back of the building on the third floor. When I went to check out the next morning the front desk was unattended and the front door was locked. But I'd stay again as it was clean and quiet and right off the highway exit.Safety: Motel is fairly isolated so no problem with local crime problems.Food & drinks: The road the motel is on leads to a small town that has a wide range of fast food places and sub/pizza shops.”

“We planned an overnight trip to Jim Thorpe. We found Emily's is only a short 30 minute drive from Jim Thorpe. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The grounds are absolutely stunning. They are spacious and make for a nice, peaceful walk. The house is gorgeous inside. The woodwork is splendid. Angela has done a wonderful job furnishing the home. It is kept up very nicely. We stayed in William's room. The room was beautiful. The pictures and furnishings all tied in together to form a nice theme. The food was delicious. Angela is a great cook. Angela and Michelle were both friendly and welcoming. This is a very nice B&B. We will definitely be back.”

“We stayed here for one night with our dog and the four of us. The price was reasonable including the pet fee. Our room was clean, up-to-date, and didn't lack anything important. We had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi on my laptop, but managed to connect to it after some time. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. The staff was very friendly both to us and our dog, especially Christine.”

“If you're traveling I feel like this hotel checks all the boxes! It's right off I-81 with food,gas and Walmart nearby. I'm a truck driver and they have plenty of room for semi trucks and RV parking. They're pet friendly for a $15 fee which I think is super reasonable. This is an old hotel but they have done some renovations. Very clean, beds are pretty comfy with extra pillows! They do have hot breakfasts that consist of Little omelets and meat choice, 2 different flavors and shapes of homemade waffles, a big variety of snacks for the road also. The onsite bar/restaurant has really delicious food! I was told that the lady who runs the restaurant cooks mostly homemade! I highly recommend the pork chops and yellow rice!The funny desk staff are super friendly and even passing staff in the hallways they're very friendly! They do have 2 washers/dryers onsite as well. I think for the price this hotel is definitely a hidden gem! I've stayed during the week and the weekend and it's always been quiet.Rooms: A little dated in some areas but clean and comfy!Safety: Very quiet area in my opinion. Noone walking around or hanging around that shouldn't be here. Plenty of parking with security cameras all over the property.Food & drinks: Onsite bar/ restaurant. Home cooked meals”

“Nice simple room with bed and bath. No fussy frills that I don’t want or need. Good value. Nice front desk staff. Welcomed my dog, with no extra fees or fuss.Noteworthy details: Very pet friendly. Very nice welcome. Comfortable bed. Cosy bedding”
