WORST PLACE EVER! These people are crooks the man is a fast talking liar! I took my fur coat to be cleaned and have a pocket repaired.. he brought it in from another dry cleaner with a $35 ticket on it and charged me $125 dollars! The coat still smell like my perfume from 6 months ago when I dropped it off! Don’t waste your time on these crooks!!!

The dress store sent me here to have my daughter's prom dress shortened. It was dirty, the seamstress wasn't wearing a mask, and my daughter could barely turn around in the tiny, rough dressing room without snagging the dress. Come to pick it up and they've charged a whopping $250 to shorten it and move a couple of hooks. Only one of the layers had to be hemmed, as the others were organza and tulle. Absolutely outrageous. They claimed she worked on it for 7 hours. Not only was that unnecessary--I know a little about alterations, and it doesnt take 7 hours to cut three skirts and hem one--but that's a heck of an hourly rate. Disgraceful, highway robbery. Edited to add, It doesn't fit properly, the hem is ragged and uneven, AND IT SMELLS LIKE FISH! When I called the store to let them know that it came back smelling of fish, they picked up the phone and dropped it in the cradle without answering.

If possible, I would rate this store Zero star! Terrible experience. The tailor is incompetent and his work is a s**** He fixed a tear in the clothes so carelessly that leaving a ugly scar on it. I bet I can do better by myself than this! And they charged me 45 dollars for such terrible work. Never come back again.

Worst cleaners ever. Don’t waste your money. The husband and wife are both incompetent liars. Ruined my jersey and claim they only used All detergent. My washing machine could’ve done a better job. Not to mention they took my jersey off their premises and washed it at their house. God knows what they did to it there but it’s now ruined thanks to them.

Just moved back to the area from metropolitan NYC. Needed to get a suit cleaned and saw that this place is on the way to my wife's work. The only other reviews I saw for it were on Yelp and lets just say the two there were not flattering, but it sounded like they could have had a bad experience. So I decided to give Towne Cleaners a try.
The suit came out fine. But the other reviews on Yelp are spot on. This place is a MAJOR RIP OFF! They charged my wife $15 to get one suit cleaned. That is by far the most amount of money anywhere in the area and exceeds anywhere I ever took my suits in the NYC metro area by $3, the most expensive place to live on the east coast. So they are either really over priced or they eye the person up coming in and try to screw them. I am thinking the lack of clear pricing on their web site (which would be easy to add to any website) leads me to believe it is the latter.
My advice to Towne Cleaners- This is suburban Philly - Not Hoboken, NJ or NYC, heck its not even the mainline. Try to be more humble and conscious of where you are and what you do!
