I had a phenomenal experience with Herbytowing last Friday. I was having to get my car they had been stolen from their impound lot. They stayed open for me when I was stuck in traffic and then had to stop at the police station to get a report, they were very professional, they helped out with trying to get my car started so I could drive it home between the receptionist, both the towing men that were there and the owner phenomenal service !! Thank you all!!

these mfers are scam artist, they told me 560 on the phone, i get there and this old geezer adds some bs fees to 715 . i asked can we do 700 he says no , i asked how is 715 and it was 560 this morning, he says uhhhhh..... 715 cash dont let them tow shit for you

It is completely illegal to prevent a customer from getting their belongings from their car rather they paid for storage or not!!! I was asked to write a review so here I am. Kathy at the front desk has a nice personality. But that’s the only thing good about the place. The people hold your belongings hostage! Bottom line. While the last review I saw was how nice the tow driver was by stopping to hold traffic for a bunch of cars on a small street to enter, their PAYING costumers are deprived of their belongings because Kathy says there is only one driver who can “take you to your car”! Which is why I wish I could give this place no stars at all!! I was in an accident and the police chose this place. When I was released from the hospital I was told I needed a release form from the police a mile away. Once I arrived with the form the driver automatically departed! Yet on his way out they were discussing lunch and drinks. The other guy in the back opted for BEER!!! Meanwhile I have a paid Lyft and can’t get my belongings!! Kathy also informed me of an irate customer who owed over $2000 and was calling making threats. I now understand why. These people hold your belongings hostage along with your vehicle. They are the worst part of my accident. I’ve lost more than I had to because of these ghetto people and I will be looking into legal action! Stay far away from this place that is also unknown on our maps!!! If you crash in Clifton Heights sadly your first concern should be keeping the police from towing your car here instead of worrying about more important things because HERBYS will prey upon the unfortunate people. Luckily I have full coverage and the car was picked up from them but they look for people they can rob. They are not satisfied with keeping the vehicle. They want what’s inside too!! Disgusting!

They are crooks my son car was stolen in philadelphia and recovered the next day in upper darby. UDPD found it and had it towed to this lot. 52 Days later they call us and tell us the have the vehicle. They see his name Identification badge hanging from the rear view mirror with company name. And charge $2,000.00 to release the vehicle. Then say cash only. Then the lady say is the car paid for if it is GIVE US $200.00 AND WE will get the title and keep the car. They sat on this to make money. I am taking this further

The lady at the front desk had a nice attitude but that's the only nice thing I can say. I would not recommend anyone willingly allow their vehicle to be towed here. The cars are kept on a separate location with no one there. They have "only one driver" available to "take you" to get your belongings. I was in a terrible accident and had to go straight to the hospital. when I got out they had my car six days before my full coverage came to get it. I paid Lyft and when I arrived with the paperwork they needed from another location their driver took off as they discussed what to go get for lunch and drinks!!!! The guy in the back opted for beer in early afternoon!! Which could explain why there's only one person available to go to the cars! Dealing with this company was the worst part of my accident!! I never got my stuff out of my car and it is now over an hour away. may never see my stuff as my airbags deployed and i may deal with a total lost which is something the beer guy said when I called one day. you would think that would warrant this company to help the customer faster but again theyre not your typical tow company!! If I could give one star I would!!!

I have not been a patron of this service, but I'm rating based on the courtesy I witnessed one of the drivers display this afternoon. It was full traffic hour time. About 15 min ago 5:15 pm. He graciously held traffic to let me pull out of a side street, and continued to do so for any other car that needed it. Extremely nice thing to do. Definitely behavior that would make me consider their service in the future if I needed it.

This was my fist time getting my car towed ,and thankfully it was brought here. Kathy and the team were very accommodating. On a night that was so scary and stressful, the tow truck driver was friendly and comforting. Once the insurance company finally contacted me, the people at Herby's were so helpful and kind.

This place is horrible. I was the victim of a hit and run and when I tried to go get my car from them the same day they wanted $325. I asked why it was so much and they added on a bunch and f bullshit ass charges that weren't true and didn't need to be there. They lack compassion and his exact words were "that's the price so it is what it is". Then as I waited for my ride so I could go back home a different employee came out and had the audacity to ask me why was I still there? Like, excuse me?? I shouldn't be surprised because of the area or the type of employees that work there. If I could have given them zero stars then I would have.

Got my car towed here after an accident. They let a company pick my car up and tow it somewhere else, but had no clue where my car was taken. Idk why police work with this place. It’s not the workers faults, it’s the owner or whoever works at the desk letting it happen. The workers tried their best to help me find my car.
