I love bringing my car here, so much so that I have moved to Bethlehem and still came back here for my car inspection this year.
I hate to sound like this, but I usually feel intimidated as a woman getting my car inspected, as I've been pushed to get work done with scare tactics since I don't know anything about cars (like the dentist, lol). Smith's Auto is nothing like that. They offer a list of required work and recommendations with pricing for everything so you know what work needs to be done now and what to expect in the future. I always have a positive experience here both with the customer service AND the vehicle service.

I went to Smith’s for the first time recently and they have earned a customer for life. Every part of my experience was great from making my appointment all the way to the thank you card I received afterwards and everything in between. They were professional and honest at each turn.

I’ve been going to Smith’s auto for a few years now, and they have never let me down. They have done things for me from routine inspections to severe issues that needed to be addressed. They have given me lists and timelines of parts in my car that will eventually need to be replaced, but do not pressure me to replace them until I’m comfortable or until they see the part failure is imminent.
I recently had an issue with my radiator which I needed addressed immediately. Unfortunately, Smith’s are not open on the weekend, so I took my car to a place suggested to me by my sister on 611. Needless to say that place replaced my radiator, however when I got my car back, I was hearing a weird noise, which I did not hear before. I took my car to Smith’s auto for them to reveal that I was missing the splash shield/engine undercover. This wound up causing my wheel liners to become loose and it rubbed through creating a hole from contact with the tires. I was furious with what that other auto shop had done to my car. I asked Smiths for anything they can provide with me which I could present to the other mechanic, which they did. They provided me with details of what it happened, pictures of all the parts, and professional observations that I could present to the other mechanic and demand reparations.
Thanks to Smith’s auto, especially Kevin, I was able to successfully prove that my car was damaged because shoddy work from the another place. I will never take my car anywhere other than Smiths Auto in doylestown. They have always gone above and beyond, and I’ve never let me down after almost five years of care. Thank you for your service!

Brought my car here for an inspection. They were able to get me in to the shop within two days. Car was done within a couple hours and the staff was friendly and communicative. Will be using them again for all my auto care needs!

I always bring my VW Jetta to Smiths for service. The team does great work, I can always get an appointment when I want, and the pricing is fair and honest. It’s always a better experience than going to a car dealership!

Was able to get in quickly, and the place is great! Didn’t even know that I needed my tires balanced so badly, but my car drives GREAT now! Very happy with my service and super friendly guys too!
