This guy is a j**** Called him last week about antique train sets. He said he wanted $195 to come out an appraise them. I said I could send him photos and was just looking for a fair price on them. He told me to send the photos. I sent them and called today to discuss, and he then informed me he would have to charge a $100 fee to give a verbal estimate because appraising is his business and he needs to make money. When I said he didn't tell me about that last week, he hung up on me. Stay away from this guy!!!

Michael Ivankovich, Personal Property Appraiser, Doylestown, PA. Stay away if you don't want to be taken. I know we had little time to prepare and clear out my elderly mother's home, but no reason to take advantage of her. Gave Michael option to come back for the boxes I found afterwards for the Franklin Mint James Wyeth silver collectible plates that he took, but he declined. That's stupid on his part as he could have sold them for more. It was evident he only was interested in items for his own personal gain. He could have taken albums from 50's and 60's containing Frank Sinatra, Perry Comeau etc. and he turned them down. Feel we were taken advantage of. He charges a $195 fee to come out and assess your items. The $195 was deducted, leaving us with just over $100 for AC Gilbert trains and accessories in excellent condition and still in boxes, 3 Franklin Mint James Wyeth silver plates, a Taxidermy Pheasant, exotic bronze statue, antique nut grinder, 2 fishing poles, some costume jewelry. I would have rather donated the items! Do not use him!

We just noticed a negative review from a MICHELLE GRUESBECK that was left several years ago and we never noticed it before. MICHELLE GRUESBECK purchased 5 items from us in an eBay Auction for a total of less than $150. At that time she had no eBay Feedbacks or Rating and was an eBay Novice. We sent the Post-Auction Invoice to her listed eBay email address which was incorrect. Apparently she had moved and never updated her eBay information. After a NO-PAY for several weeks we finally made contact with her. She WHINED about a shipping fee of $42 that covered 5 larger framed pictures, under glass, with Insurance., from a UPS Store. Then she COMPLAINED that the pictures had not been properly stored to PREVENT MOISTURE DAMAGE and REFUSED TO PAY. (The pictures were stored IN OUR HOUSE). MICHELLE GRUESBECK NEVER PAID for the items, and we had to eat them because we had already paid our consignors. Then she LEFT NEGATIVE EBAY FEEDBACK ... ABOUT ITEMS SHE NEVER PAID FOR. We were able to get that negative feBay feedback removed, but never noticed this Google Feedback until today. We placed her on our DO NOT BID LIST and never dealt with her again.

RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL- AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I bought photos via an eBay auction and waited and waited for an invoice or any communication for weeks and then got an angry phone call from Sue/Susan about paying invoice that was sent to an email address that I don't use and I'm not sure where they even found. They were new eBayers so I tried to explain that I would have been happy to communicate with them earlier had they used eBay to send an invoice or a message and that eBay customers expect such dealings as part of fraud prevention measures. I had hoped that explaining the delay would help diffuse some of her obvious (and unwarranted) anger and rudeness. It did not. She told me shipping for my miniature framed photos (3'x5', less than a pound each) from Southern PA to Washington, DC would be $42! She refused to let me send a shipping label and was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL AT EVERY TURN. She was constantly negative and continually made negative assumptions about everything, every step of the way. Then, after a few emails, I find out that they don't even properly store their artwork to prevent breakage and moisture damage. I struggle to think of a worse experience.
