Lengthy post: I am not a complainer but when wrong is done, I will speak out. On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, this station's (Liberty at 1019 North Easton Road, Doylestown, PA) street sign indicated $2.97 for regular gas. This was easily more than 20 cents less per gallon than I was seeing at many places in the previous miles. I turned around to pull into this station and fill up. As I pulled up to the pump a man was immediately at my door. I was opening my door and grabbing my card sleeve holder, preparing to get out when he said 'We pump it for you. You just stay in the car and stay warm.' He was very insistent about standing right there and grabbing for the card holder in my hand. This was all rather sudden and a bit unnerving as I was fumbling at getting my card out of the sleeve while asking about any difference in price. He answered, "Only a few cents more, don't worry." He then impatiently said, "Just give me your card." and practically grabbed my card from my hand, put it in the card slot and said "See...in it goes and we'll hit 'bypass the pin." and handed me my card back before I could finish protesting. It was when I got home after the trip and was recording mileage, etc. that I read my receipt from this transaction. That's when I noted it read 'SERVICE LEVEL: SELF Product: Regular GALLONS: 10.650 PRICE/G: $3.19. My complaint is the fraudulent signage that advertised a much lower and quite difference cost per gallon charge; a discrepancy of over $.20 per gallon. The different price was actually the fraudulent price per gallon advertised to bring in unsuspecting drivers with a very low price per gallon offer. T here was absolutely no signage indicating a difference in price if paying cash versus credit. This station's street signage on North Easton Road advertised gas at $2.97 on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Whether or not the employees always pump for customers, I cannot say but that doesn't appear to be a factor in pricing as this man had fraudulently claimed. What I do know is that the person was at my car door before I could even finish braking to a full stop at the pump and kept me from finishing opening my door and getting out. He rather forcefully insisted on handling my credit card and the bottom line is that he kept his body between me and the pump which prevented me from seeing the actual price per gallon for regular, which was over 20 cents more than the advertised price. In law, the actual contract between a business and a customer is finalized when the customer pays the price. Until that moment, the onus is on the business to be honest. The customer agrees to the price when he pays it. If the customer finds that there is a discrepancy between the price they were offered by means of public advertising and what they actually paid because the business hid the actual price being paid, then fraud occurs. I will be filing a complaint with the state's consumer protection department. The amount of fraud in this event is very small and many would not complain about the amount. The fact is that this was a fraudulent practice and needs to be reported to the authorities.

Typical gas station. Cheapest price around (when paying cash). They also have an auto-mechanic shop there too. Never had to have my car repaired there though.
