We purchased a business truck that was financed through Fulton. The rate was pretty high, so I called to see if they could offer us a better rate; they said, "Yes." We went through the refinancing process. The process took almost two months and they wanted everything (business returns, personal returns, financial statements, etc.) for a rather small loan. We finally got approval, said everything had been processed, and we would get paperwork showing new details of the loan. Then, I didn't hear anything for over a month...here the bank manager we were working with had left the bank and, according to the new bank manager, all of our paperwork (social security numbers, financial documents out to whazoo for the business and our personal) was non-existent / had been lost...no loan had been processed or was being processed. Needless to say I was beyond frustrated, but started the process again. This time the process was completed in a couple of weeks; however, after everything was finalized, we were told we would need to transfer all of the business accounts and banking activity for the business to Fulton. This was NEVER told to us before, during any of our communication with Fulton until then. Needless to say, we refinanced with another bank and got out of Fulton as quickly as possible. The staff is friendly; however, service is incredibly slow and paperwork was "lost". Also, getting the pay-off from Fulton, for the new bank, was a nightmare; we had to jump through so many loops. A lot of valuable time was wasted with this bank.
