This location is a lifesaver for young families! The caretakers at the stay and play are wonderful with our children and they look forward to going each day. Makes it much easier to get a workout in knowing they’re being well cared for. My son is so happy with his swim lessons too, he is really learning fast. And we love swimming as a family in their cove/beach area. Best decision we’ve ever made for our family was signing up.

Y great except very disappointed with tv in treadmills. Treadmills 5, 7, 8 snd 9 without tv today. Most frustrating and unacceptable. Whats being done to correct this?

Poor management of facility layout. People on their phones while camping on equipment. Entitlement reeks. If you don't leave a towel on your bench, do not bother filling your water bottle. Someone else will be on your equipment w the weights stripped when you get back. I've seen people take hand weights and superset at the lat pulldown. Way too many people for the regular gym area. Anytime after 9am forget it. Can't imagine what it's like in the afternoon. Next to High School. After 3pm forget it. Too bad Doylestown only has the YMCA & Planet ape...I would still be at High Point. That worked better for me. I just need a Gym...

A few months ago, our family signed up at the Y, and it's been an outstanding experience.
The drop-in babysitting service for our kids, ages 5, 3, and 1, has made a huge difference. It's allowed my wife and me to focus on our workouts without worry.
Initially, we were unsure about leaving our kids, but the Stay and Play team has been amazing, far surpassing what we hoped for.
Plus, the gym is consistently clean and inviting.

Unless you are elderly, or a teenager, this place is not for you! The workout area is always congested, it is impossible to get a machine if you are someone who has a 9-5. The basketball courts are always taken by either toddlers tumbling, girls volleyball, etc. The sauna is typically packed and filthy with other peoples sweat. The price factors those amenities in, but you will rarely get to enjoy those amenities that you pay a premium for. Although, if you want to be an extra in some kids tik tok, maybe this is the place for you as there are tripods galore constantly filming on the workout floor!

I haven't been a member very long but I had to cancel my membership today because next month I will be 28 and my membership price is increasing by almost $50. I receive a lot of emails about their dedication and work in the communities, but raising the prices that much for a young adult who is not making any more money in the next month doesn't seem right. I think a lot of young people would like to get involved at the YMCA but these price hikes don't reflect helping those in your community.

I am a member of the Doylestown YAnd today was a strange and disturbing day I went for my run on a treadmill the as I always do I put on my swim suit and went to the hot tub I guy walked into the pool area right off the street clothing coat hat sweatpants sneakers fully dressed took everything off put his sweat pants and got into the hot tub in full kind sweat pants it was frankly disgusting like he was doing his laundry. So out I get then as I always do I went into the sauna once again people fully dressed including sneakers oh and everyone was on their cell phones. I’m not sure but I’ve never seen this in anyplace I’ve ever been. I’m in my bare feet like it’s a sauna right and people walk in in there dirty sneakers wow does the pool area not have any rules about what you should wear I’m really grossed out.

I am a long-time member of the YMCA, but my recent experience at the pool was disappointing and needs addressing. Despite my infrequent visits due to a busy schedule, I expect the membership to provide a certain level of access to the facilities. Today, my swim was abruptly cut short by a swim instructor who insisted I had to vacate the lane for a private lesson. I experienced this several times before. It is unacceptable to displace a member mid-swim, particularly when the pool's availability is one of the main features of the membership. If the YMCA prioritizes private lessons over member access, it may be inadvertently overbooking the pool space, which is unfair to its members. This incident raises questions about the management of pool scheduling and member communication. Members should be noticeably informed of the lesson schedule in advance, and a balance must be struck between lessons and member access. I urge the YMCA to review its policies and scheduling practices to ensure that all members can enjoy the facilities that they pay for, without such disruptions.I hope my feedback will prompt a constructive reevaluation of how pool time is allocated and communicated, and I look forward to seeing improvements that respect the time and rights of all members.

I went tonight with my grandkids to go to the waterpark pool. Apparently my membership had expired but the lady who was working was very unfriendly and wouldn't renew it. She told me to come back during the day so I left with disappointed kids. My granddaughters membership was valid and we couldn't use her 5 guest passes because she didn't have time to do the paperwork
