I was a patient of Dr Schnur for a few years & wasn't too fond of him. Always felt like I was being judged but what made me no longer be a patient of his was when he misdiagnosed me! He ordered routine blood work to check a few things. He said my blood work results showed I had an under active thyroid. I go to the hospital to have that rechecked and it turns out I did NOT have an under active thyroid. I'm sorry, but how do you tell someone they have an issue that they don't actually have?

It’s taken me almost a year to finally move on from my experience but I was so upset and caught off guard to walk into my appointment in February to find out they don’t take my insurance anymore. I had a list of things that I wanted to discuss with the doctor and had been eagerly awaiting my appointment. To be turned away and not given a heads up when I have to request off of work to make my appointments and need medical care, I completely broke down in the office and am finally moving on and finding a new family doctor. It is so incredibly frustrating having to start this process over and over and over again when offices decide to stop participating with insurance companies and fail to inform their patients. I want to stay with a doctor for more than 2 appointments :( so very frustrated and disappointed with this office, even 10 months later.

Excellent health care provider. Doctor Schnur provides exceptional examinations and recommendations. The staff is friendly efficient and promptly follows up on all the questions I've had. They have a convient clean office facility and are easy to get an appointment with.

I love Dr Schnur and his entire team. After years of doctors not listening and being astute, Dr Schnur is focused and professional and kind. He immediately noticed a lump in my neck and pushed me to get it looked at that day, which I did and it was thyroid cancer. He was with me every step of the way providing guidance. I'd never go anywhere else, and my kids and hubby love him too. And Barb in his office is amazing!

I have been a patient of Dr. Schnur for eight years. Coming from an HMO I was comforted by the quiet manner and personal attention he gives. He takes time and listens. His approach is minimal intervention first. That said in an emergency or the prospect of a significant problem his referrals have been, with one exception, the right fit specialist or appropriate higher degree of intervention for me. As a result conditions that could have been life altering if not threatening were diagnosed early with positive outcomes. As to the staff Barb has always been warm, efficient, and I dare say caring. The medical assistants have been good as well.

I have been seeing Dr Schnur since moving to Doylestown in 2013. He is excellent. Very knowledgeable and very caring about me as a patient. He has been helping me reach my health goals. I especially love his staff especially Barb who no matter how many calls & requests I make she takes care of me with a smile. I highly recommend Dr Schnur and his team.

I go here weekly for allergy injections and I love everyone. They are always kind and will fit you in to get seen as soon as possible. And when you get there, they are always happy to see you. This is the best doctor's office around. I highly recommend!

Dr. Schnur is a hopeful breath of fresh air. I have lived in Doylestown area for 28 years. I have experienced some very mediocre doctors, and an very inept hospital. Dr. Schnur is a very thoughtful, well prepared man who see his patients health as a personal challenge to improve, rather than an financial opportunity.

This has been the absolute worst doctors office I have ever been too. The receptionist are rude on the phone whenever they finally feel like picking up the phone. Dr. Elliot Shnurr never listened to my needs and proscribed me antibiotics that i specifically said I was allergic to. Whenever I went there whether it was for an infection, anxiety, migraines etc. Dr. Shnurr wouldn't prescribe what I needed for that specific problem but yet he would try to push birth control pills on me every single time. I'm not even sure why birth control was brought up at any of my visits. It was a waste of a co-pay every time I went there. Overall awful experiences there. I switched to Central Bucks Family Practice and have never been happier with my new doctor.

Dr Schnur is wonderful. He has been our family physician for 15 years. In fact we followed him when he left an overly large impersonal practice up in Plumstead. At that time I also took my kids out of a pediatric practice and he has been their doctor since childhood. He is confident yet cautious and has helped us through both major and minor health crisises. His entire office, spearheaded by the kind and wonderfully efficient Barbara- is lovely to work with. I strongly reccomend Doylestown Family Medicine.
