I dropped off my car and the mechanic said he could have the car done by the follow day. I called the next day to see when I could pick up the car and only got a voicemail. The shop never called me back so the following morning I drove there to pick up my car. The car was still sitting in the parking spot and wasn't even fixed. I ended up towing my car to another auto shop. Liberty charged me around $120 to diagnose the problem and never fixed it. The quote he did give me to fix the car was almost double what I paid at the other auto shop.

First experience less than stellar. Made appt weeks ago & was told I wasn't on schedule even though I confirmed it yesterday with Pete. 2 1/2 hrs for emissions & inspect not cool. Not coming back.

I frequent Doylestown Auto & Tire often for gas. They are convenient and almost always beat other gas stations on price even if it is a penny or two BUT the bonus is, they pump your gas for you. The attendants are always polite and friendly.

Needed my tire plugged today after getting a nail in it on my way to work. They fit me in on my lunch and fixed it super fast and they were very friendly!! Highly recommend!!!

*NEVER USE THIS MECHANIC* I had some maintenance done to my vehicle in June, one of the list items was flushing the coolant system and replacing it. I had to bring the vehicle back 3 times within a 2 week period after this because it kept leaking coolant. (It never did that before this visit.) They told me I needed a new water pump and it cost me $800. The VERY NEXT DAY I broke down on the side of the road because of leaking coolant. Turns out they never correctly reconnected the fill hose and I don't believe they correctly bled the radiator either. When I called them that morning I broke down, they never picked up. I left several voicemails over the course of that week. They got back to me a over a week later requesting to bring it in and they'd "fix their mistake". By this point A.) Why would I bring my car back to a mechanic for a 5th time for the same thing? And B.) It was a week later before I heard back from them... So I'm supposed wait for them to get back to me and just not go to work? Crazy. I disputed the charge on my credit card and the service "manager" Pete sent in a statement to the credit card company that was a complete lie. He changed the entire series of events and said they never heard from me again. The credit card company took his side because they said their work was "under warranty". I sent in a ton of documentation proving that Pete lied about everything that took place and that the shops extreme negligence and incompetence could have cost me my vehicle. My credit card didn't care, pretty sad. I told the truth and he didn't. Shameful. According to people in Doylestown I've spoken to, over the years he's been hitting the bottle pretty hard and now it's starting to show up in his shotty work. Anyone reading this, please don't use this shop. I know reputable mechanics are hard to find but this guy is a total joke. Sober up Pete! Grateful that they were able to squeeze me in for an inspection after just moving in to the state. However, there was zero attempt to contact me that either car was completed. Happened on my first car (led to an overnight stay) then again the very next day for my second. Also, mechanic left grease streaks on the cloth interior of my truck.Again, grateful but frustrated.

The "under-the-radar" place to get your car serviced. Pete and his team are top notch mechanics and can work on every car. Even exotics. Reasonable prices and always goes the extra mile to make sure you leave satisfied. I highly recommend them. Without a doubt the best place to go in Bucks County.
