Very much like D'town Hospital, this business has gone to hell in a hand-basket. Mostly due to management or the lack thereof.

I have always taken my babies here, and in the 20 years I've done so, I've never been unhappy with them. Dr. Celano is a gift to vet medicine, and Dr Mantel, the "leader" of the clinic, is also wonderful. They don't promise my babies will live forever, but they guide me in making the best decisions I can for them. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for--expert, honest medical care for your furry family members.

Our puppy had worms, brought sample with worms- result came negative for worms! They wouldn't refund for wrong fecal test result but wanted us to purchase dewormer! Wouldn't trust their lab results!

Update: They mixed my dogs causing a severe adverse reaction. The concern I got from their administration was horrific. Instead of apologizing for the doctors error, they were rude and unprofessional. They wouldn't fill her insulin. You don't use an innocent pet, jeopardize their health to protect your business. Most docs are wonderful, administrators appear to be immature young girls. Have an issue with me, I can handle you, but my innocent dog without insulin? Inhumane. Review is based on experience with just one doctor, There are two other amazing doctors there we've seen (and this is no way in reference to them), but this particular one that will see them randomly when the others are out, has made some very serious mistakes - 1st was a year ago - sent one of my dogs in error to ER in "renal failure"; we broke speed limits through tears thinking we'd be saying goodbye that night - only to find out the test was run incorrectly (my dog is still with us). This doctor has also mixed and confused my 2 dogs ailments a couple of times (they both have very different chronic issues), most recently this resulted in direct affect to one of their well being. The doctor in reference is very kind, just seems to fumble with inexperience, so I'm hesitant to mention their name. Use Dr's Celano and Frankel (both great) if you can, and you won't experience what I have.

The staff at DAMC are wonderful and caring. We had to call them in an emergency situation and Lauren was amazing and so compassionate! Dr. Simone and Lauren helped make a difficult time as stress free as possible. Our dear old cat’s time had come and even though it was time to close they helped us through the process with true care and compassion. Thank you Lauren, Dr. Simone and DAMC.

The staff at Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic were unbelievably caring. I cried my eyes out because I had to put my baby to sleep. They couldn't have been kinder.

The Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic (DAMC for short) is simply THE BEST veterinarian (my opinion) in the area. And this review is overdue. The DAMC cared for our brother & sister pugs for years until they transitioned into pug heaven. Throughout all the years of their care, the staff was incredibly supportive. When it came to the end, the veterinarian doctors tried every possible solution to extend the life of our beloved pugs. Life has its limits. They helped us make a painful decision. Personally, I can still remember the Vet Tech who stood behind me with her hand on my shoulder as I was crying and saying "goodbye" to my little boy pug, Pugsley. (Yes, I'm a grown adult.). The comfort the staff provided was truly amazing. We've had cats, dogs, guinea pigs and a plethora of aquatic animals. If we could have taken them all to DAMC, we would have. I highly recommend DAMC to anyone who loves their pets.

Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic has been the vet if choice for my two Labrador retrievers since about 2011 or 2012. I've found the vets and vet techs to be thorough, thoughtful and kind. They alert me when my pets are due for their shots and follow up if we've been in recently with any issues just to ensure all is well. This is a very good place to entrust with the medical care of your pet.

DAMC has been really great for both our dog and cat heath needs! They've been extremely safe and clean during the pandemic as well. The curbside care has given us a lot of peace of mind.

We cannot thank Dr. Celano and the Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic enough. Yesterday, we had to make the very hard decision to put our precious 15-year-old dog, Zoey, to sleep. Dr. Celano was so compassionate and caring throughout the whole process. Given the COVID situation, they only allow 2 family members in the office and we had our daughter wanted to be included. Dr. Celano set up a beautiful setting outside behind the building so all three of us could be with Zoey when she passed. She made sure that not only the three of us were comfortable and cared for but that Zoey was comfortable and felt the love from all of us. Thank you Dr. Celano, you have a true gift for taking care of both our animals and their families.

Last few times here I've had horrible experiences at DAMC. They definitely take advantage of people's love for our furry friends by up-selling services. I've been charged three times for X-rays at $250 each that told me nothing. Twice I asked them not to do them and they did them anyway. Yesterday they prescribed three prescriptions for us at over $150. I'm sure they are marking them up. In addition they told me I can come in with a mask on. Then inside the tech said that "you must have misunderstood". The vet doesn't want you in her. No I understood correctly - you miscommunicated to me. I'm looking for a reasonable vet that doesn't focus on the bottom line above pet care.

I have been using Dr. Drew for over 20 years and three Shetland Sheep Dogs (Shelties). He and the other Vets have been always there for normal care and emergencies. Very caring. The best of the best. Barry Grife Sima
