If you just pick up your medication and don't have any issues or questions - they are great.But....if you have a question or have to call them, they get annoyed - even combative. It's the worst customer experience.I called tonight and sat on hold for 15 minutes, only to have them finally pick up (with 10 minutes left before they close) and tell me "You'll have to come in tomorrow. We're about to close."My question would have taken 2 minutes to answer. Literally.

Wegmans is a good pharmacy and I really didn't have a problem until my husband recently went on Medicare. I was previously on the WellCare insurance and encouraged my husband to get on the same insurance since it cost nothing for Tier 1 drugs and $5.00 for Tier 2. My husband picked up his meds today and was charged $42.00. I told him something wasn't right because some of the meds were the same as mine and I had $0 copays. I called WellCare and found out that he should have only paid $5.00 for his five meds. I was told to tell him to go back tomorrow to get his money back. Please make sure you are being charged the correct amount for your formulary drugs. If you're not sure call your insurance carrier to ask what you should be paying for your meds. It could possibly save you a lot of money.

After picking up my prescription today, the check out person told me to wait for the pharmacist who would answe my question. The pharmacist working today was extremely rude. She helped a lady in front of me and then ignored me for 5 minutes not even saying I’ll be with you shortly. After 5 minutes of me waiting she says she’s busy filling prescriptions and doesn’t have time to answer a question about a prescription I just picked up. She is the only person working today and I could come back and check if she’s free. No, I’m not going to come back periodically and check whether you are free. All this right next to a sign that says we care and all your questions answered here. Yeah, thanks. Terrible service.

Easily my favorite large market/grocery store in the area. Great selection of fresh meats, cheeses, groceries, produce and baked goods. High quality take and bake meals for those on the go. It's not just that Wegman's is an upscale grocery store, it's that individual sections are good enough to stand on their own. For example, the store's wine and liquor selections could rival most speciality stores. Competitive prices for your more common offerings, but also a lot of imports that aren't carried by the state stores - including premium vintages. I've almost never waited for very long on line, despite how busy this store always is. Staff is helpful and plentiful, and I've never not been able to find what I needed, for any recipe.

I am so incredibly thankful for the pharmacy team in Downingtown. On the rare occasion I have to go to a different pharmacy, I’m reminded of how wonderful they are at Wegmans. We were calling around looking for a rare medication for my daughter. While on the phone we asked if they received a Rx for my son, which they had not yet. 20 minutes later, they called me (without asking), because she remembered us asking about it, to let me know my son’s prescription came in and they would fill it immediately. They are helpful and go the extra step - even calling insurance companies for clarification. Some reviews indicate that there are employees who aren’t friendly. Yes, at times, it happens - don’t we all have bad days sometimes?! Even on a bad day, they are still amazing. Thank you for making the life of this crazy working mom just a little easier when there is an unexpected sick day!

Went into the Downingtown store yesterday to place an order for a half a sheet cake. Those working and meals to go were very nice however they went to the bakery department to get information and when they came back they told me I was able to use an invitation on the top of my cake. They specifically went to the bakery to confirm that it was allowed. When I got home I received an email telling me that that information was incorrect and they were not able to use the invitation

Picked a prescription for my baby 2 times. Both times we are short on dosage.Either they do not give the prescribed amount and do some kind of scam or the syringe they provide with medication is incorrect !I am switching pharmacies and not coming back here!

I'm really disappointed in this pharmacy. I went to get a COVID booster, the woman who checked me in seemed annoyed the entire time, they had me wait for 45 minutes after my appt. time even though I got there early, then they made me wait another 30 minutes for observation, even though the pharmacist wasn't anywhere in sight. If you want the country vaccinated, you need to make it easy and convenient. It should NOT take an hour and a half.

Worst customer service ever. Tried to return some fruits and veggies that were supposed to be “fresh cut in store” worth more than $80 and were sold beyond the expiration date, they didn’t accept the return “cause the receipt was missing”, although all have Wegman’s price labels. The manager was even worst than the customer service employee, saying “we can’t accept the return cause we would have to trash them” for items that should have been trashed immediately the day of expiration. So sad, will never return to this store.
