Had to fast for my blood work so made an appointment. Not a long wait. The tech was doing multiple jobs efficiently. No pain and was in and out. Thank you for your help.

Many red flag mistakes at this Quest. I was a walk in with one person in front of me. They got called back, finished their appointment, and then was called back again after leaving as if they were never seen. At this time the patient had already left. The phlebotomist then continued to talk about how she must have just left and wasn’t here anymore. Phlebotomist was very rude after I asked if she was the only one there working. I had just been at the doctors next door and my blood pressure was 120/68 and yet when I was stuck, pulsatile bright red blood was going into the test tube. After she proceeded to take my blood from my artery Immediately a hematoma formed and blood continued to seep. I was then told to hold pressure until she taped gauze to it (not a pressure bandage). Despite me continuing to hold pressure over the bandage (with no instruction and no information telling me she had accidentally stuck my artery) I still had a bruise covering my forearm through my elbow. I was unable to complete many tasks after my visit due to soreness and extreme discomfort. I am fortunate to know how to deal with an arterial stick, however IF I had a clotting disorder, was on blood thinners, or had high blood pressure a patient may have to go to the ER for uncontrolled bleeding caused by your employee. I know things like this can happen, however I wish policies would be in place to be transparent with your patients and give them signs of things to look out for and for responsibility to be taken. Only good thing was the wait to me was.about 10 minutes

Suuuuper slow. I have to get monthly urine pregnancy tests for a medication I take and it took an hour and a half for the employee to register me so I could do this. I don’t blame the employee because she was the only one there and really nice, but Quest needs to hire more people. 10+ people in a waiting room surely warrants more than one employee working here.

Absolutely disgraceful. We had to wait two hours after our appointment time and there was no receptionist to speak to. Every time, someone would just arrive and immediately get called in.

I've had bloodwork done here multiple times and it's been the same lady every morning. I understand that we all have bad work days, but each time I come in the lady is very moody, unkind, and impatient. I will no longer be using Quest.

I hate getting blood work done, but I had a great experience here! I didn't have an appointment but was still helped immediately after checking in. The phlebotomist was polite and professional.

The following is an e-mail, i wrote to quest concerning my experience over this past weekend involving a scheduled appointment I had a the Thorndale Pa location. I would like to file a formal complaint against this location and Quest's notification practices in general. I had scheduled an appointment for lab testing for 5/23/2020. The only location that was available was the Thorndale location. I received multiple reminders of the testing up to the day before the testing. i prepared for the lab test and showed up at my scheduled time only to find the office closed. I double checked the address to make sure i was at the correct location and confirmed that I was. On the door there was a sign that they were no longer open on Saturdays due to the Covid-19 situation. I understand that modifications to hours is needed during this period of time. What I find unacceptable is the fact that I received no such notice of the change in hours at that location. I didn't receive anything indicating that the office would be closed during my scheduled appointment and that I would need to reschedule. Instead, I got reminders indicating that the appointment was still scheduled and that there weren't any changes to the schedule. As stated earlier up through the day before. I understand that these messages may be automated, however, it is extremely bad and unprofessional customer service for the hours to be changed without notification. I am sure I was not the only client affected by this total lack of professionalism and consideration. I was supposed to get lab work done within approximately a month after my tele-medicine appointment. I now have to wait until a month after my requested testing period to get the lab work done. This makes me look like I am not being compliant with my Dr's orders. This is completely unacceptable. Changes need to be implemented immediately to let your clients' know of these changes. In the future, I will have to reconsider my choice of lab testing companies.
