I needed a Navy sports coat and on a whim I decided to check out Orvis. The staff was very helpful and I ended up getting one that fit perfectly and looks great. It was expensive, but well made and will last forever.

Very helpful very clean nice maintained store. Employees are very helpful! Even when you don't see the right size or color of something ypu want they will order it for you.

I used to love Orvis clothing. Shopped there all the time -- for decades. Their clothes were always classy and 'classic' and I didn't mind spending a little extra $ because the quality was always top notch.Lately, their clothes look horrible. I just got the Women's Early September 2023 catelog -- even the model on the front cover looks horrible -- she's a beautiful woman and she looks frumpy. There's literally nothing in this catalog that says "Buy me". Perhaps some marketing focus groups told them to go in this direction -- but it's causing me to go somewhere else. Their women's clothing line just doesn't look good -- for ~the last year. If I wanted to shop at LLBean -- I'd shop there.Good luck.

You'll find Classic Orvis gear here, but the staff here sets it apart. Dan the manager is always great to work with and there are several others who are very knowledgeable about local waters and the tactics to help you be successful. Prices are Orvis prices.
