I am very new to running and noticed that I was experiencing pain in my arch while running in my regular sneakers. I went to Downingtown Running Company to find a better pair of running shoes. Mary was awesome! She felt that I didn't have enough arch support so she had me try on various sneakers to provide that much needed support. I selected a pair and have been pain free ever since! Stopped in yesterday to find a good pair of shoes. I’m on my feet 10+ hours a day and have recently started easing into jogging outdoors. Mary was so kind and helpful. She looked at my feet and gave me multiple selections to try on. She was very patient as I tried on each. Chatted a bit and with her and Kevin and they were so friendly and sweet. Left with a new pair of shoes and will definitely be returning when I need another!

Will not go anywhere else for athletic shoes.The experience is in itself worth it, the gentleman working was so accommodating and juggled multiple people while not making anyone feel like they were waiting. He looked at our feet and provided guidance on what would work best for us for what activities we do and have options. The other customers were also just very friendly. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back when I need to and recommend to others.

Best running store! Owners work there and they really know their stuff. Patient, friendly, not salesy at all, really dedicated to getting you the right shoe for you. So happy a friend sent us there. We've been back twice already to get more shoes and will keep coming back!

A great resource for runners and walkers. They have a huge inventory of running shoes and are extremely knowledgeable about all the brands they carry. The owners, Kevin and Mary, will take the time to make sure that you are professionally fit and then given multiple options across brands. This store has been a key part of the local running community for years. Shop local and support your local small business!

Excellent service. Very reasonable prices and on-sale deals. Highly knowledgeable team. Focused on feedback - inquired about the feel of each of 5-6 pairs of shoes that I tried and noted my comments. Highly recommended!
