In a world that seems so chaotic and stressful, there are people in the world like the staff of CBA who still have good hearts! I came in for an oil change on the day they were providing free oil changes for single mothers. This may seem like something so small, but to me this act of kindness was HUGE! They gave each mother a flower, had tents set up with activities for the children, food on the grill and beverages and snacks available while we waited! This was the fastest oil change I’ve ever had and I would come here again because of how great the customer service is. I appreciate everyone who was there this day and thank for you the great service and hospitality. Thank you again!!

If I could have given zero stars I would had. I brought my car in for service on September 27 at 7:30 a.m. The staff was friendly, and they provided a shuttle service, which made me feel like I was in good hands. Since I wasn’t sure what was wrong with the car, they informed me that a diagnostic test would be necessary, costing $143.10 to figure the problem, which I understand. I was also informed that I would receive updates about my vehicle via text or email throughout the day.
However, I received no updates at all. By 4p.m., I had to call the shop myself to find the update on my car. Michelle answered and mentioned that Jack was working on my vehicle and preparing an estimate, and that he would call me back. About 30 minutes later, Jack called to let me know the issue was my battery, and that it needed to be replaced. I agreed to the replacement, and they sent me the estimate.They then informed me they wanted to keep my car overnight to ensure it was just the battery.
The estimate I received at 5:30 p.m. On Sept 27th included $143 for the diagnostic, $189 for the battery, $169 for labor, and $23 for additional service, bringing the total to $418.
This is the most expensive battery replacement I have ever experienced. Although I had a coupon, it couldn't be applied toward the battery, so they only deducted $15 for the diagnostic test.
I went to retrieve my car around 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon, but it still wasn't ready. They stated that I would receive a text when it was ready. I explained that I was on my lunch break, and a coworker had given me a ride and I assumed that it would be ready because it was just a battery replacement. By the time I returned to work, and half hour later around 3:30 p.m., I finally received a text saying the service was complete.
I am completely disappointed with the service and the lack of communication with the staff. This was a dealership experience I will never want to repeat. The lack of communication was unprofessional, and the cost was double what it would have been to simply buy a battery and have it installed elsewhere. I don’t see myself returning to Christian Brothers in the future or recommend them to others; which is extremely disheartening for me.

They are absolutely awesome and so nice! Very attentive and pleasant. Their waiting room is the best I have ever seen for an automotive service place. Very clean and comfortable, I'm so glad I discovered them!

First time going to Christian Brothers and it was the easiest/best experience I’ve ever had with an auto shop. Very communicative. Everyone was personable and knowledgeable, and I never felt like I was being upsold on anything. They could have pushed us to do a lot more maintenance, but were honest about what had to be done now vs. what could be done later on.

My experience with Christian Brothers was nothing but been outstanding. From Michele , Jason, front desk staff, to the mechanics, they were honest , professional, friendly , and fair on their assessments and work completed. It’s rare to see a car shop that has your best interest in mind. I can confidently say that Christian Brothers went above and beyond my expectations when dealing with them. I highly recommend the CB Downingtown location for services for your vehicles.
