I take both of my dogs here. The Wellness Plans are very helpful. I did upgrade one dog to include the dental cleaning, but dropped back down because 1. went I brought her for her scheduled appt, I wasn't told not to feed her, so she couldn't have it done and had to reschedule. She's high anxious dog, so going there is hassle, she whines the entire ride in the care and the whole time there waiting etc. Having to reschedule was inconvenient. 2. When she did have the service done - I was called during the procedure about a loose tooth they wanted to pull for additional $$$. I declined, never has had any symptoms or given her problem. 3. for a few days after the procedure she was very out of sorts, and I believe in pain from them scraping and digging around her gums. So, decided to forgo future dental cleanings. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with this location. But my dogs are very healthy (**knocking on wood) and haven't need to experience anything more than routine visits. Staff is always friendly.

The staff at this location take the extra time to listen to my concerns and to love on my pets. I feel so comfortable leaving them for the day under their care!! Exton banfield has an incredible and knowledgeable team! Thank you all so much for your genuine concern and care for my babies and not focused on upselling me on products if they aren’t necessary. Best vet around!!!

Love the Vets at the Downingtown Banfield. They care about my pets as if they were their own. The nurses, techs, and other staff are equally as awesome. You won't regret bring your pet here. Plus they offer wellness plans which help with the cost of the vet visits.

Highly recommend! Been a part of Banfield for almost 13 years and it's the best decision we made when it came to our pets health. I truly believe having our animals on their wellness plan is why we have healthy fur babies! We appreciate everything you all do!!

We love Banfield and they treat our best friend very well. So glad we switched to Banfield from the corporate owned Foxfield Vet on Uwchlan Ave

Dr. Rossi is by the far the best vet we have had. We have three dogs, 6,4 and a pup of 8 months. He knows your pet is family and treats them with such kindness and heart. we have had three emergencies with our youngest and this location got her in ASAP and saved her life. Highly recommend location and Dr. Rossi!

I called this morning for an emergency visit at 8:30 am. My almost 15 yr old dog has been a patient with Banfield since she was 9 weeks old. I was denied an appointment because they were booked. My dog has not eaten or drank water since yesterday. I find it appalling that you take $60 a month from me and you can not accommodate me when I need a doctor! I will never come back to this office!

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I've really only had positive experiences here. Michael (yes that's my dog's name) is always thrilled to death to see everyone and I know they love on him (his fur is everywhere on them haha). They did have some pushy people a few years ago (so much so that one tried to sell me her OWN training sessions, going as far as saying my dog needs obedience training; he doesn't; and when i told her i also train, she tried to recruit me. so yes, i have seen ugly there), but I haven't seen any of them in a long time and the people they have there now are very kind and sweet. I've never NOT gotten through on the phone and have always been given an appointment immediately. The plan has been great for me (as a helicopter mom, i can't help it) to be able to stop in if something seems wrong. I haven't had to use it often but it's been a comfort to have. Sorry for the negative reviews, I'm thankful for you!

Been using Banfield all over the US for a few years. This one is by far the worst. They NEVER answer their phone. It doesn't matter what time you call, they don't answer and the website doesnt show this location to choose from. My dog is nearing the end of his life and having to find a new vet is a pain in the butt, but that looks like where I am at.

Very very very terrible experiences. We’ve been going to them for about 2 years now and at first they were amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff but then COVID stuck and it’s been nothing but a nightmare since. The staff is very condescending, unfriendly, and not helpful. They’re also very hard to get ahold of. On multiple occasions I’ve had to try calling multiple times over the course of an hour to just get an update on my dog. After the first bad experience we just figured it was fluke but ever visit since (about 3) has been progressively getting worse to the point where we are switching vets. The design of the drop off appointments are terrible. They seem very over scheduled. It’s not right that my dog has to sit in a cage for over 6 hours to just get a simple yeast ear infection checked or get 3 vaccines. After all the waiting for your dog to be done you don’t even get to speak with the vet and if you want to they call you days later. One instance we dropped our dog off for having stomach/vomiting issues, the vet and vet techs were more concerned with his flea and tick treatments than the vomiting and didn’t even look into it at the appointment. I had to call later to ask about it and the vet brushed it off as switching to a new food (the same food he had been on for over a month prior). After doing my own trial and error I figure out it was a grain allergy because the vet was not able to help. The staff also is not very transparent with costs and try to slip in extra tests that aren’t needed but also aren’t covered by the health plan.I’ve had dog experience of over 20 years and have been to multiple vets and by far the Downingtown Banfield has been the worst experience. Do not go here unless it is your last option!
