I removed my child from daycare after repeatedly asking the manager to keep another daycare worker from chasing my child to force him to give her a hug. I picked up my child on 9/26/23 and again the employee was grabbing at his clothes trying to pull him in for a hug and he was crying and trying to break free. I asked her to please stop forcing him to give you a hug. The next morning, I was confronted by the manager who said the employee had special needs and had been at the daycare since she was little. The manager said she had addressed the hugging but that was her way of bonding with children, and I would just need to work with them on this issue. This was NOT one incident, this was at least 8 times in less than one year. PLEASE, PLEASE consider safety when enrolling your child. There are many times a child under the age of 3 opened the front door of the facility to let me in. 3 times there was not an employee present, I left with my child and not one daycare employee called to be sure it was me that took my child. The teacher to child ratio is concerning, the large open area divided by play kitchens and bookcases are an easy way to shuffle children in and out of "designated" areas to compensate for staff shortages. There is no professionalism, staff wear pajamas to work, yell across the room to each other, complain about other staff and demean staff by yelling at them in front of the children. Cleanliness is also concerning. I would pick my child up around 5:30 and there would be bags of trash piled at the front door to be taken to the dumpster. Several times when I was picking up he had a pooped diaper and when I let staff know he had needed changed they would scold him for not telling them he had pooped, he is 3 years old. I was not notified the daycare had several confirmed cases of Coxsackie viral infections until I noticed the blisters on the bottom of my child's feet. When I told staff about the blister's the employee said it was going around with no concern. I will not recommend this daycare to anyone.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CARE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. Every day I picked my child up her clothes were filthy, her nose was crusty and they put the wrong diapers on her. They would lose her pacifier and take it away from her to teach her a “lesson”. Even with my child being 1 years old you can teach them yes but not taking something away that soothes her. The staff was very unprofessional and not understanding. When I brought these things to their attention they stated that they couldn’t treat kids like how their parents would because they aren’t 1on 1 …. I asked the owner would she leave her kids nose like that and she responded no my point was made clear.Don’t send your kids here. I’m telling you it’s not the place to take your kid to ease your mind.

Called to sign my infant up and a lady seemed very bothered I called. Doesn't seem good for new moms. Want to be sure my baby is with a place I can feel comfortable even having a conversation with. But they are filled up so I guess they could careless ?

The staff is great and genuine! They work with each child and their individual needs. My daughter has progressed so much in the two years she's been there it's amazing.she loves going and I love knowing when I drop her off that she's happy, safe, and cared for.its hard to find a daycare like this, 5 stars!

My overall experience was great. My daughter always was excited to go see her friends and teachers. They treated my daughter well and could feel the love they had for her. I'd say this is one of the nicer daycare centers in dover and with the best price.
