“My small 12 yr old, 4.7 lb. Chihuahua "Frankie" needed luxating patella surgery and my vet clinic could not do this surgery. “Dr. Ramos-Rivera is incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth, yet very professional, and has a huge heart and a kind soul. She is truly one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She is one of the only vets I have worked with that truly take the time and cares. Visits to the vet can be extremely stressful for both the owner and the pet. Dr. Ramos works hard to reassure both the worried owner and the stressed animal. I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else. “Compassionate, truthful, doesn't do tests without checking with you and they are forthright about possibilities and probabilities. As with any vet it seems that they're more expensive than people doctors. However, if you are prepared to care for your animals, this is a great place to be when they are sick and not feeling well!”

“From Buddy's 1st puppy appointment, he continues to be treated with kindness. They take the time to learn about all. When Buddy is grumpy, he is understood and soothed. I have called, expressing he is not himself. I am carefully listened to. When concerns arise, options are explained, without judgment, allowing YOU to take the time to make an informed decision. Nothing is pushed on you, just respect, and understanding. It is understood you will call back numerous times to ask more questions.

“Good Hope Animal Hospital is a fantastic place to bring our dog. Staff is very friendly, helpful and understanding. Ours doesn't do well with other dogs around and they've always made arrangements so that we can either enter through a different door or plan accordingly so that he can go straight into a room when we arrive. Dr. Davie is wonderful, attentive and helpful.”
“Our little fur ball had been a rescue and part of our family for over twenty years. For a good part of that time she was taken care of by Dr. Graham, who has to be the most caring, gentle, compassionate person and vet there ever was. Today was the day our fur ball passed over the Rainbow Bridge. It was time. Dr Graham made the procedure as comforting as possible for us and painless for the fur ball. Thank you Dr Graham! “Man, people don't like vets, huh? My experience with Silver Springs Animal Clinic has been great. My senior goes to Banfield but my adolescent goes to Silver Springs. He was neutered here, no issue. In fact, about a month ago, I thought my senior was struggling to pee. Any cat owner knows that's a major, immediate issue and usually costly. I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later! Turns out the little turd just had an upset belly and was straining to not pee. They were able to do imaging, blood work, the whole 9 yards. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. Love them!”

“I've had nothing but amazing experiences with the entire staff of Banfield Mechanicsburg specifically. I can’t speak to other locations. But I’m on a low budget and my cats are never forced any unnecessary testing, etc that breaks the bank. They are aware that when you say no thank you to let it go which a lot of vets now a days really don’t and it becomes very uncomfortable. My cat had dental surgery and they actually saved me some money by not having to take some teeth out and were able to cut some costs where appropriate for things they quoted me that didn’t turn out to be necessary which I was really pleased with. Overall when I call with questions I’m always given help not just at appointments and the staff ALWAYS returns calls if they say they will. I do wish the vet was more accessible for questions instead of questions being funneled through the vet tech on appts but really its not a big deal, it works, but if I had to critique that’d be the only change I’d make. I will keep coming back to Banfield, and drive further just to go to Mechanicsburg bc of the staff ”
“This place is awesome. When my elderly chihuahua/terrier mix had a cracked infected tooth and needed a dental cleaning, Healing Creatures fixed me up. Every interaction was positive, the surgeon was wonderful, and my dog got a new lease on life. I love the holistic approach and how they don't push medical treatments I don't want or need.”

“My dog was very nervous upon arrival. After being treated by the staff he was happy and greeting everyone. Which showed me that he was with a great group of people. He was diagnosed with a UTI and unfortunately developed complications overnight. I brought him back in the next morning where he was treated and is now doing great. The staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable. I would bring him back here again in an emergency.”

“I've been using Dillsburg Vet Center over the years for my dogs. Dr. Amber has always given my animals great care. She helped give medical advice for my senior dog, and was professional, compassionaye, knowledgeable and helpful to address my questions and concerns.
Note- 100% would recommend this over Timberview for local folks on the market for a vet.”
