Great little pottery shop inside the actual pottery. We have lots of their pottery we have purchased over many years and stopped there because they are not showing at this year's Central PA Arts Festival. The owners are super nice, friendly people we have known for years.

I have never been there, but am trying to verify a piece of pottery that I found at a store in KY. So ranking you a 4..well it was just a push of a button. This piece to me is extraordinary n I did not see any in the photos. Would like to send you a picture but not sure how.

Close to but a world away from Route 15 in the Dillsburg area lies a wonderful, some would say almost-spiritual experience. The plain-fronted one story building hides a treasure trove of high quality original pottery and the large working studio where it is made.You enter into a small but well-laden gallery/shop with table top and tiered display shelving. While there are many, many pieces to look at, there is still a restful feeling. It took me three or four passes to feel like I'd satisfactorily grasped what was there.Everyday useful objects such as teapots, mugs, serving dishes, candlesticks, pie plates, pitchers, bowls, cream and sugar, bread trays and even mail and sponge holders project beauty and function. A few steps takes you into the studio area but also includes many more for sale items. The predominant color range includes blue greens, tans and browns, with some creams and grays. The owner, Mark Fitzgerald, will do custom work and have it ready in under a month, typically. Having honed his craft/his art for over fifty years, his work has breadth and energy and mastery.Prices are very reasonableService (courtesy of owner Mark) was solicitous and extremely helpful. Having noticed that I walk with a cane, he automatically carried my packages to the car, which I had easily parked immediately adjacent to the entrance.

Visited Fitzgerald Pottery last week for the first time. The pottery is beautiful with gorgeous glazes and surfaces!! The pieces were all extremely well crafted! I bought three pieces and wish that it could have been much more! Thanks so much for a wonderful visit to your shop and studio. It is great to see work for sale inside a working studio.

Nice people and pottery. They have gotten Expensive. Pottery styles are getting a little old or played out.
