“I had a flat tire on a long trip. Found Straws through the AAA app. They were close enough to where I was that I didn’t need a tow. I asked them if they could check to see why my tire is leaking air. They didn’t hesitate—brought the car into the shop, lifted it, then not even 10 minutes later came back to tell me that the tire valve was faulty. They fixed it temporarily so I could finish my trip in time and told me to get it repaired as soon as possible. They wouldn’t charge me. Also, they keep a nice and clean shop. Good people. “Mcnews garage is one of the most friendly garages you can talk to, I had a car they worked on for the previous owner and I needed the tune, dude to it getting erased. No cost to me and them being swamped they still got me the file at no charge! The tune runs great and they did very good work on the whole setup. As someone who built my own racecar and then buying something they worked on I was very impressed, clean work very knowledgeable about everything they do but also about cars from years past. If you’re looking for a good tuner this is the place!”
“This is hands down THE BEST auto shop in the area AND surrounding areas. I have never once been made to feel like I couldn’t trust these guys. They are straight shooters, with more than fair prices, and I always leave there with a smile on my face. Out of all the errands I have to run throughout the year this is my one stop that NEVER gives me a headache. If we moved hours away I can confidently say I’d travel the distance just to make sure my cars were taken care of by them. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. He let me wait inside the building while it rained, even drove me to a hotel, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He offered a fair price and used his connections to arrange shipping for my car to South Carolina once the work was complete. From customer service to pricing and turnaround time, the entire process was outstanding.
