After paying off a mortgage that I had with ACNB for 19 years, I reapplied for another loan and was denied. I was never late for a payment in 19 years and my credit score is 800+ .Thank God The Lebanon Federal Credit Union approved me, without knowing me I might add. I didn't even have a dollar in an account at this credit union.Lebanon Federal Credit Union said they had to look at my numbers twice until they could understand it. Merle could not see the whole picture.Lebanon Federal Credit Union said my numbers were good going through covid and they understood the hard times in which businesses are going through right now, they too were stunned that ACNB rejected me.When my loan was under review at ACNB, I asked Merle "Doesn't the committee know I've been a customer of yours for 19 years and never missed a payment?"He said "that doesn't matter this is a whole new loan" Also, you are not being truthful when you said you had to go by certain guidelines for loans, I WAS approved for a loan by the government standards.Bottom line, I am angry and embarrassed that ACNB would not stand by me for another loan.

Great service and a friendly staff. I recently refinanced a property I own with ACNB and had a good experience and would recommend them to a friend.

I don't have an account at Adams County National Bank (ACNB) but my landlord does.

This bank is not honest. Several years ago my wife and I were closing out several IRA accounts when the clerk attempted to bill us $50 each. Both of us were in our retirement years and not transfering the fund but requesting cash. Realizing it was an attempt to cheat us I began greeting their customers at the door explaining the banks attempt to cheat us. I also requested the bank to contact the police. Finally, the bank returned all of our money. Even prior to moving to another state we ended business with these crooks. Though we have lived in another state for years, we continue to deal with our favorite credit union of all times which resides next door to this dishonest bank. ACNB attempts to cheat seniors from our experience. The only bad bank experience in my lifetime.

My husband and I did the the $200 deal for signing up. You have to stay on board for a year to get the offer and a couple of other things. That was over a year ago now and we did receive our money like they told us we would.

I WOULD NEVER REFER SOMEONE TO THIS BANK. THEY OFFER THIS $200 SPECIAL IF YOU SIGN ON N OPEN UP A NEW CHECKING ACCT AND WHEN YOU FULFILL THE THREE CONDITIONS, THE $100 IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEPOSITED IN THE ACCT AND THEN A YR LATER, THE OTHER $100 WILL BE DEPOSITED. That's not true!! I just called today and expected to already have my money in my acct and now they said the guy forgot to tell me that I have to wait 90 days! I am LIVID because I spent some money thinking that this money would be deposited any day now. DON'T TRUST THEM!!!
