I love TJMAXX for great priced gifts. Personally, I buy my clothes on Temu, real cheap. But TJMAXX is good for presents, so they can return their items if they didn't like it.

The prices at T.J. Maxx were not very reasonable. I noticed one item that I bought last year from a Dollar Tree for over $7 at T.J. Maxx, which was concerning to see. I'm wondering where/how they get their merchandise and what the actual values are.

I just left this store a few minutes ago, and I'm a little annoyed. When I checked out, the cashier asked me if I had one of their TJ Maxx cards, and I said no. She asked if I wanted one, and I said no again. She said their card could really help save me money, and I said I know, but that I'm in the process of buying a house, and I can't open any new lines of credit. She didn't even wait for me to finish before she turned and started talking to a fellow employee. I guess this person was putting things away, and may or may not have been working yet. Full on conversation while I'm standing there. I only purchased 1 item and kept trying my card, but nothing was happening. She finally turned back to me, said my total and hit a button so I could run my card. Then, while still talking to whoever was at the end of the counter, she took the receipt and stuffed it in the bag. I had my hand out to take it to put in my purse, but it was already in the bag. SHE'S STILL TALKING TO HER COWORKER! I reached for the bag, and when I lifted it up, the tags sticking out got caught on something at the register, and that's when she finally looked back at me. This was all in a matter of minutes, but I felt like as soon as I turned her down for the credit card, 3 times by the way, she could care less. She was more interested in talking to the coworker. I won't be making an effort to come back to this particular TJ Maxx. There are plenty of other good ones with cashiers who don't ignore you when you check out.

This is a great place to shop, It has a lot of stuff , very organized and clean. employees were very friendly and nice.
