Originally booked through Expedia and there was an issue but not on holiday inn’s end. Even though the mix up was Expedia’s fault the front desk staff were eager to help and reached out to Expedia to clear the situation up. Our weekend stay was great and the breakfast was really good too.

Just spent weekend here. Hotel was great!! The staff amazing ! The breakfast area and food outstanding ! The place decorated for Halloween! Loved it The manager should take note your STAFF are 5 Stars ! (But I’m sure you know, because they are all happy)

I checked in at 3:00pm. on September 17th and stayed just 1 night. I have had a rough couple of weeks and am bouncing around hotels. The woman at the desk asked if I was just passing through, and in my exhaustion, I let my situation slip. She could have dismissed it or given some sort of platitude, but she asked more about it and genuinely seemed to show compassion. It didn't change my life, but it made me feel good and took a little weight off my shoulders. It's been a while since I've seen some human kindness. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name. I didn't see her after checking in, and I didn't want to seem like a creep asking after her, but I hope she sees this and is commended for her ability to turn me into a grateful customer before I even made it to my room. It was such a short stay that I didn't get to interact with much of the other staff, but the ones I did meet were very friendly and warm. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet and close to some great restaurants.

Well, this is one of the best ranked hotels in the area of Scranton both expedia, booking having it above 9 out of 10, so was a bit of disappointment maybe...
Couple of facts:
There is a smell in the corridors.
The room had stains on the carpet and we found lolypop leftovers and toothpicks on the floor.
A hot tub is not a proper one.
The pool smells extremely small and the area is not properly ventilated.
There are no side walks pass the hotel area and to access the shopping mall right across you have to drive.
Overall not bad, but nothing special.

I used this hotel for a wedding (blocked off rooms). The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and modern.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Good location. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations, and shopping nearby. Easy to navigate to. Very nice rooms and very quiet during our visit.

Stayed while visiting family. The hotel was clean & the beds were really comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

It was really fun. The rooms are clean, the breakfast was really good. The staff are amazing and friendly. The pool and the hot tub are amazing. The gym is really nice and quiet. The back patio is amazing if u need a space to sit and enjoy the cool breeze. The view is also amazing.

It's really good. At first the room had a strange smell like some sort of weird cleaning supplies. Facilities were very good and clean. There's a nice patio/courtyard area in the rear. The breakfast really good. Pool was clean and nice. I definitely would stay again
