Everyone is so kind and always makes an effort to get my dog seen in a timely manner, which is so appreciated as my Snoop manages to pick up every bug imaginable at daycare/boarding. They always explain their diagnosis and treatment thoroughly, and treat my pets like their own. I would recommend them to anybody!”
“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

I took her to another vet who had zero compassion and my friend recommended The Cat Hospital of Media. Dr. Yolanda Revilla is so wonderful, informative and compassionate. I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life and Dr. Revilla and the staff were all so terrific. I really want to thank them for truly caring and loving my precious girl. Dr. Revilla sent me a card and today I opened the mail to receive a beautiful watercolor painting from the hospital in honor of my little girl. Thank you all so much. “Weve been to a lot of vets over the years for our dogs and for rescues but this was a first time taking a client dog in and I couldn't be more thankful that we went here and had the experience we did. The staff was amazing from the first call, during the visit, to the check up call from the vet a couple days later. We totally understand why our clients chose this office and we will be bringing our managery here from now on.
There's not a lot of techs and doctors that really hear you and take your knowledge and bond of the animal into consideration. The front desk ladies are there with a smile and compassion, when i know on most days they can have the hardest job taking the brunt of it all. But this team does it all with a smile and amazing bed side manner.

“Media Vet was very responsive to our concerns about Mickey's dental issues. We were able to be seen quickly, then in short order, records were sent for cardiac testing and Brianna and Dr. Atherton answered many requests regarding medication and his surgery. Dr. Atherton even added time to her day to add him to a surgery schedule without waiting for an opening. Knowing a pet is suffering is so difficult and it means a lot that Media Vet cared about this little guy! We are so grateful for your help.”

“I wanted to update my post. Although my heart is breaking, I just wanted to take the time to once again to thank Dr. Frost and her team for their compassion. I had to put Sherlock asleep today in order to rest with the angels. It was a hard decision, but he was dying and in pain. Everyone there was helpful and compassionate. They treated us both with respect, dignity, and compassion.They showed Sherlock love in his final moments. For that, I am truly grateful. Dr. Frost and her team are wonderful! They are both professional and compassionate. My cats get excellent care at Whitelands. One of my cats is a diabetic rescue cat, and they have dedicated their time to helping him. My other cat just got his teeth cleaned and had to have a tooth pulled. I feel comfortable leaving my pets in their care, knowing that not only are they being taken care of physically, but they are also being treated with love and attention. I appreciate it! I definitely recommend taking your pets there because, let's face it, our pets are like family members, and we want the best for them.”

“My 13 yr old maltipoo, Whitman, was attacked by a German shepherd last evening. I called first and was advised to bring him in. Every single person we encountered was patient and caring as I was shaken up. Everything was explained well and there were no surprises. They took great care of him and he’s home now resting. Would definitely recommend to anyone facing a pet emergency. It’s not cheap but like any ER you have to expect that. He was seen at Blue Pearl North, in Pittsburgh.”

“My regular veneration closed permanently and I needed a med refill for my older cat. The doctor at Bywood squeezed us in for a quick evaluation so he could go over his records and assume authorization on refills. That's compassion. Everyone at the desk is super nice and my only surprise was when I saw the bill and how reasonable the total was. I did some growling under my breath over the years at other vet bills. Bywood is a great find!”

“My puppy came here struggling to walk and with a 104 fever. They quickly figured out he was suffering from a deep tissue infection from his grooming the day before. All of the DRs and support people were wonderful. Kind, caring and wanted to help him get well. My puppy is alive because they got to the bottom of what ailed him quickly and got on top of his skin infection. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend this facility - I drove over an hour to bring Cooper here and it was totally worth it!”

“Our dog came down with an eye infection on Friday night after my Vet closed for the long New Years weekend. We couldn't ignore it for 4 days so on Saturday morning we frantically searched for someone who would help. After numerous refusals, we reached out to Bryn Mawr Vet. Not only were we relieved to find they were open, but estatic that they were happy to squeeze us in. Again, this was the Saturday before New Years Eve! The entire staff was extremely kind and caring. The office was spacious, clean and welcoming. Doctor Greenamyer was wonderful. She gently and thoroughly examined our dog's eye, immediately identified the issue and explained to us what it was, much to our relief. With the meds she perscribed, our dog's eye began to clear up nicely. We can't expres how grateful we are to the Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital (my dog's new Vets, BTW), Dr. Greenamyer and the staff.”
“Dr. Royster and his team are incredible. We love Haverford animal Hospital so much that when we had to move out of the area, we still bring our dog down from New York City for her yearly check ups and any procedures. He works so well with our dog, who is very shy and nervous of the vets office, and gives us very straightforward and matter-of-fact information that does not leave us guessing.”
