I never normally post reviews, positive or negative but I feel that I have to share the experience I have had living here. Simply put: don’t. I only lived at Stonegate for a year but in my time there I have had enough bad experiences to last me a life time.
I will start with the positives however:
1. The location is great, lots of good shops and the area is lovely.
2. Excellent school district
3. Units are actually fairly spacious.
But that’s where my positives end.
Negatives:
1. MICE: i own a cat, who is a mouser, and typically that’s enough to end a mouse or two. But my cat killed at least 4-5 and we found 3 additional dead under our dishwasher. Pest control does little and the mice keep coming back.
2. Bugs: do you like house millipedes? I don’t.
3. Mold. We had literal mold that I spent lots of time, money and effort fighting. It wouldn’t go away no matter what I used to clean and I cleaned nearly every day.
4. Buildings are old, and often things break. That’s fine and to be expected in any apartment. But what isn’t expected is it taking nearly 3-4 times out to have an issue fixed. I once was told that I should just turn my heat to 80, so my bedroom could be warm since my heat was broken. They had to bleed the line after I begged them to do it. Our AC unit broke and at first they weren’t going to replace it, turns out a wasp nest was in there and broke it. I had to call corporate to get a new one. Once the maintenance man brought his dog into my unit(?!!?) with complete disregard for my feelings on that or if my dog or cat was comfortable with a strange animal in my home.
5. Our plumbing only sometimes worked? Like our toilets wouldn’t always flush right, sinks wouldn’t drain. We had them come numerous times and it just felt like it was never really fixed.
6. Perhaps most disheartening is the lack of kindness and neighborlyness of the neighbors. They let their kids do what ever they want, including throw rocks at cars, play in dumpsters, leave bikes every where. Management says they are trying to work on it, but nothing ever changes. You always smell your neighbors cooking and often you can hear your neighbor through the walls, despite them being made of concrete.
I’ve lived in many places and I truly tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. I’ve lived in buildings built in 1890,1920, and expected issues. But I think stonegates biggest issue is that its management simply seems like it’s not able to really fix the issues, and it’s the neighbors are just not neighborly, nor do the neighbors care about the state of the environment everyone is living in together, which really compounds the issues. I’ve never felt so stressed as to when I was living there. Literally save yourself the therapy bills and please find somewhere else to go.
I mean, I hate posting reviews or saying anything negative, because it truly is in a good spot and has so much potential, but right now it’s just simply not a place I wished to continue living.

My sister and I are moving out after living at Stonegate building Q only less than a year. Here's what you need to know.
Positives about the property:
- Location. Devon is wonderful, target/acme, restaurants, Radnor trail and library super close.
- Free parking, lots of parking spaces (though it's outside).
Negatives:
- MICE INFESTATION. Do not live here unless you want to live with mice. We saw them every day. Their feces lined our apartment. The "pest control" came in and gave us simple glue traps and spring traps... Useless! We never caught a mouse. We had to plug up the holes ourselves. This was the #1 reason we moved out. Nothing was suffient to keep mice out. See videos of mouse feces on our closet floor and table. It's so gross.
- Ceiling has gaps/holes and dust balls fall down from it. Yuck.
- Noise/children running through the halls. (And I'm a teacher! I love kids! But not when I'm trying to work in the apartment)
We were not able to get out of our lease despite the persistent mice problem. Save yourself the trouble of moving in and out. (There are no elevators so moving is a pain.)

It is really good place to live with family. Pet friendly place. All important places are 10-15min walk or 2mins drive
Groceries, Rail Station, Urgent Care etc.
So overall it's nice pick.

If you want to live in a zoo welcome to Stonegate apartments. Most of the apartments are filled with mice and cockroaches, inspite of multiple complaints nothing worked, they somehow find a way in. They are also known for charging a hefty amount for damages while leaving no matter the duration of the stay. Good school is the only good thing about this place, if you dont care about schools you can find better and more affordable apartments elsewhere.

Do not rent an apartment from here. This place is the worst. Maintenance is very slow. Huge insect problem and it's a waste of money trying to get anything delivered to the apartment. Everything gets left at the bottom of the steps and stolen within minutes. This place is literally the worst talks of management and they say they can't do anything about it

I could not have written a better summary of how it is here better than Jeremy D below. It is 100% accurate unfortunately. They like to say its "normal apartment living issues". This is absolutely not, I've lived in many different ones. It's not only miserable living here with the most rude ungrateful smelly loud neighbors, the place is falling apart. I purchased so much anti mold and rodent items myself and it was still unsafe and unhelpful. My neighbor came to me once and asked if it was normal in the united states to find 14-15 dead mice in the span of 6 months. It needs to be investigated this place. Go nowhere near it.

The maintenance guy paid attention to detail. It took several days to complete, and he came buy as promised. The walls as good as new.

Unfortunately, this apartment complex has a history of charging astronomical move-out “maintenance” fees. Just search on BBB. I lived there for about a year and although the management is nice, about a month after I moved out, I was sent a letter stating that I owed almost $500 for “maintenance.” To be fair, there was one item within the apartment that needed to be replaced but I knew that was an issue. I cleaned the apartment well before moving out but I was still charged like crazy for things I had already cleaned. After receiving the letter, I disputed this and followed up 5 times after not hearing anything. They haven’t reached out once and when calling the management there, they refused to provide evidence of their baseless claims. Complete liars. My advice if you for some terrible reason have to live here: make sure you take photos of your unit after moving out and completely cleaning because they will use it against you if you can’t prove that you cleaned. They also won’t provide evidence of anything they’ve claimed. Also, watch out for the cockroaches that live there. Even if you’re an EXTREMELY clean person like myself, they will still be skittering around throughout the hallways and make their way into your apartment.

This apartment complex is by far the worst I've experienced. It's riddled with numerous issues, including a serious pest problem with mice and cockroaches. Additionally, the roof has sprung a leak, which I reported as an emergency more than 24 hours ago. Shockingly, despite repeated attempts to get assistance, no one has come to address the situation.
I even went to the leasing office in person, but they provided no positive response and claimed they couldn't find a contractor to fix the roof promptly. I'm truly astounded by their lack of understanding of what constitutes an emergency. It's incredibly frustrating to be stuck in such a dire situation.

Affordable apartments with most of the amenities especially children’s park. Pet friendly too with two parks for pets. Pretty large community hence lot of children at all ages. Well laid out with adequate parking and garbage disposal bins. Easily accessible from roads on all four sides. Square with most of the shopping establishment is adjacent and accessible from inside by walk. Charging stations for EV also available. Safe bins available for Amazon delivery too. Accommodation in three floors without elevators.
