“This has been my go-to post office for almost 10 years. Stephanie and Michelle are extremely kind, helpful and always great me with a smile! I give them a ton of credit for all their hard work, knowledge and their ability to deal with rude customers especially during the busy holiday season. Their friendliness and positive attitude is why I choose this post office over many in the area. Thank you as always!”
“This was my first time visiting this USPS location, and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Barry and the other girl (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch her name!). Both of you were so helpful, it really made my day! -JT”
“The girls in here are incredible. I had 50+ certified mail envelopes that had to go out, these two went out of their way to make sure every one of them was correct AND would get out before Labor Day weekend and were truly happy to do it. [ YOU KNOW MOST PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN MOANIN & GROANIN w/ an order like that]. I couldn’t have made this happen without them. (If you’re curious, @ the post office it cost like 270$ when at UPS it would have cost over $1,100 for the same thing). Lucky to have this post office close by. Excellent service.”
“Always a great experience. The workers are professional and uplifting. I go out of my way to come to this post office instead of the one in Exton, that is filled with rude and miserable workers.”
“Fast and friendly, no line and parking available right out front during lunch time. I have read reviews of other local post offices that were really negative, this visit was positive and next time I need to visit the post office while in the area I will definitely go here.”
“I echo Tom Schaeffer’s thoughts: Very nice people and great customer service. To the knuckle dragger complaining about their "tax dollars at work". The USPS is self sufficient, their revenue is generated from postal fees. They have survived despite congress forcing them to fund 75 years of future pension payments, unheard of in the private sector. It's a national treasure that should be supported with our tax dollars if need be. Both UPS and FedEx have lost my packages in the past and I would love to see either of them deliver a standard envelope across the country, to a rural address, for 51 cents. The lowest rate they have is for a business envelope at $8.90.”
“They always provide great service. I went there recently and the gentleman who helped me was so helpful and personable-- makes going to the post office a pleasure instead of a hassle.”
“No offence to the other reviews on this post office but have you ever been to a different post office before? This is a small town post office designed for the volume of visitors a small town receives. They are closed for lunch. The service is great and even when there is a line (never more than 2 ahead of you) they are fast and friendly. Kimberton/Yellow Springs is just as great. I'm thankful for a nearby small town post office.”
“The Post office box at my building has a lock that is not working...I had a pkg delivered thurs or Fri last week, I cannot access it, had another pkg delivered this morning, same thing, cannot access. I had something to send, so I took the time to go to the post office location. I took care of my outgoing pkg and then mentioned the issue with accessing my pkgs...so a supervisor came and said to meet him there (I'm just a couple blocks away), and he fixed it!! Well, I was able to get my pkgs, and the lock needs to be replaced, but he's on top of it!!”
“I'm a West Chester transplant to this PO. Stopped by at lunch on a Tuesday. The location is reasonably convenient to the highway. There was no line and the two women working the counter both seemed friendly. The one who helped me was friendly and helpful. I had to do a written form to put a hold on my mail due to the situation (super not thrilled about that) but overall my positive experience was the opposite recent reviews. Heard it might be 10 months til Airport Rd is reopened. :-(”
“Employee was so helpful! We dropped off 100 wedding invitations and he glanced at every single envelope to make sure everything looked ok. He was also very friendly and made the exciting moment even more special!”
“Helped me with purchasing a money order which I’ve never done before which I really appreciated! And wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday which was a nice surprise, too!”
“I was just at the Royersford post office to send an eBay package. The clerk, Jennifer, was so nice and friendly, and told me how to save ink on labels when sending eBay items.”
“This post office has excellent customer service. I used to have a PO Box here over 2 years ago, and somebody recently shipped me a package. I called and spoke to a woman named Judy, and she offered to forward the package to me in my new location. Recently, when dealing with the USPS, I've been disappointed at the red tape I've encountered. This office made it easy for me, and cured my anxieties.”
“I went in to mail a package the week before christmas and it was packed! But both clerks took it in stride- they were awesome, friendly, efficient, and super helpful.”
“I love our little post office. There is rarely a line, the folks who work there are friendly and my packages always arrive on time and safely. It’s kind of magical, really, that i pack up a box and the usps can get it anywhere in the globe for such a reasonable price.”
“I’ve probably visited the specific post office for mailing packages putting together packages stamps and the like since 2014 and I am so pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the only suggestion I would make is the postmaster realizing that everything can be heard through the door so to continue to be as professional as possible as you’re representing to the USPS?????”
“I went in to send my passport and the southern Asian American working there was absolutely amazing. I generally despise the post office, but she made it an enjoyable experience. I felt confident that my passport would come back on time.”
“I go out of my way to come here because the service is so much better than any local post office. Gary at the front desk is quite literally always there and is so friendly… it feels like he knows everyone in town. You can always find parking within a block or so to quickly run inside. Just wish their hours were longer. Also if your review is complaining about CALLING the post office you are obviously not up with the times on how short staffed they are. Don’t expect an answer just go by in person”
“I think this office is performing well. Many of the reviews here don't seem to consider the large funding cuts to the Post Office the occurred under the previous administration. If you vote for people who don't want public services, you are lucky to be left with anything. I've lived in countries with no public post. The US post office is a great blessing. You don't know what you've got until its gone.”
“Jeff and others are very friendly / helpful at this post office. This location has become my go to for sending out packages for this reason. They are knowledgeable and forthcoming with this knowledge, and it's appreciated!”
“I went yesterday to update my address. The woman behind the counter was so kind and helpful. She was exceptionally kind to me, the customers she served before me, and those after. Very happy with my service!”
“I went to track my package, the customer service gentleman who works today was really helpful. I usually have good experience with this post office. Thank you USPS West Chester! I got my package in time!”
“Ken, who is the usual person you will run into here, is extremely friendly and extremely professional about his job. It is EXTREMELY rare that he can't get you processed in 2-3 minutes. He's extremely good at what he does. And if he's not busy then I would recommend to say something more than just say "Hello".”
