“The very best in-house butcher shop anywhere...I drive here for my chopped meat...steaks...chicken and pork products... everything is fresh and handled right here...as good as a private butcher shop...no warehouse yucky quality meat here...it's the only place we go and the weekly circular sale prices are great”
“My favorite farm market, and considering the incredible number of farmers markets in Lancaster County that's saying alot! A great variety of prepared foods, salads, frozen meals, fresh fruits and veggies, and fun things like uniquely flavored popcorn (try the chocolate peanut butter unless you have a peanut allergy, you will not regret it!). They've recently added an ice cream bar, serving milk shakes as well as scooped ice cream. The deli is one of my favorite places to get lunch when I'm working over that way. And the employees are friendly and helpful... always! Love this place and feel so blessed to have it so close to home!”
“Hoover's has the BEST CORN and wonderful eggs, along with the sweetest workers. We had our mulch and mushroom soil delivered from them this year as well, and they were just great. Quality produce for a decent price, great baked goods, and let me say again, the BEST CORN!”
“They have the freshest, juiciest apples and peaches around! After you buy from here, you won’t want to buy from the supermarket again. Preston has many varieties to pick from, delicious apple cider, apple or peach butter and a great pre-made baking mix to whip up a quick apple or peach crisp. Beyond the delicious produce, the people that work there are very nice. Mrs. Preston is the sweetest lady and was happy to answer the random questions that my kids and I had about the orchard and the fruits . Shop/support local, bring cash to pay and enjoy!”
“We visited on a Saturday where goats and rabbits were available to pet. The kids loved this. The building only had a few baked goods but the greenhouse had an interesting selection of succulents, herbs, flowers and vegetables. Probably not worth the drive from Harrisburg, but nice for what it was.”
“Nice small nursery and produce place. The asparagus had a nice green color and was very fresh. Everything looked clean. The plants looked healthy & there were a couple I hadn't seen other places. I bought a small handmade bird house for $5, the last one.”

“Brechnock Orchard is a beautiful and amazing place. Brought the kids here and they enjoyed the play area and the all the activities they had available for them. The tractor ride was their favorite as well as the apple picking. Will definitely come back again.”
“Date of first visit was Tuesday April 9, 2024. I really like the marble benches and lawn ornaments on display for sale. Since it is the beginning of the season most plants are still arriving. Check out the really cool fishpond. No fishing allowed, though. Enjoy.”

“Great travel to this farm first time with a friend and after every time with my family, I'm so excited waiting at spring or summer time we can go and pickup from the trees and them weight and pay, it's a good experience for kids, also people who work in there are friendly. In general they are open whole year inside the market store”
