“We booked a room with two queen beds for an affordable overnight stay.Upon arriving, we were pretty concerned because the exterior is questionable looking.We entered to check in, and the main lobby was ok. Not a Hilton, but decent. The desk woman was very pleasant and helpful.Our room was clean and had the usual accomodations.This is a motel. The rooms all have exterior doors in a long "L" of a building, two stories. Our room, sadly, faced the interstate, so it was noisy all night. The doors and windows are thin, and neighboring guests could be heard coming in through the evening.Rooms: I overheard that some rooms here were updated and remodeled. Our was one of these, gratefully. The room was clean, neat, sparse, and modern. Heater/ac unit functioned and was quiet. We had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Bathroom was clean and neat as well.Nearby activities: We stayed in order to get a second day at Knoebels without the 2 hr drive. This hotel was 20 minutes away. There is a pizza place that delivered as well as a Weis nearby and several chain restaurants.”

“Woke up to bed bugs crawling on our pillow and in the bed. The rooms were not real clean and everything was worn. We ended up getting garbage bags for our items til we get to the laundry and left very, very early. So much for sleep.”

“Not right by I-80, so it's pretty quiet. Quick check-in. Exterior corridors. Firm bed but I slept well. Could use some paint and some maintenance. Friendly's is walkable. Good room for the price. Overall, not a bad place to stay as long as you don't mind a little dated.Walkability: Friendly's is walkable, but not much else is.Food & drinks: Friendly's is walkable. McDonalds is across the street. More fast food options downhill in Danville.”
