I truly like this store (Cranberry Township, PA) and have been shopping there for many, many years. But it’s the ONLY store in the area that carries everything they carry so I have no other choice. I’ve had both good and bad experiences, but it’s worth the trip if you need fabric, fake florals, and/or other crafty things. My only complaint — the women’s restroom is disgusting!!!! It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years, and it’s been this way for quite some time now. Come on Joann, I know you can afford to hire a cleaning crew to service your restrooms.

They do have a lot of crafting things but not much in the category I was shopping for. I went in looking for paint by numbers, and their selection wasn't great. I also went in looking for diamond paintings. However, they only sell round drill paintings, which I don't do; I do the square drills. I did pick up 2 diamond dots pens but didn't buy them because they only had one person working the cash registers with at least 6 people in front of me. Staffing is an issue, and I couldn't find anyone to help me with questions or with ringing people up to move the line along, which was frustrating... especially during this time of the year. I wish I had a better experience!

This review is to commend the customer service I had received from a particular associate on 08/22/2023. I had called ahead to ask if they were pet friendly as I was doing some errands with my dog, Moose. Tara had picked up the phone and said they were, and myself and my dog were on our way.Upon arriving, I was greeting promptly by who else but Tara. She had asked if I was the one who had called in about being pet friendly and asked to pet my dog, which I obliged. Once she was done, she had asked if I needed help with anything (I.e finding an item, inspiration/ideas for Halloween, etc) we had chatted a little bit and she was overall just very pleasant. She had great customer service and she seemed like a really great asset to the Joann Fabric and Crafts store.The store was well supplied and was very organized and neat (prices were still higher than Michaels so I didn’t purchase anything but I’ll think twice next time due to the level of customer service I had received). Thanks for making a great experience, Tara!!

We were returning an item that we did not need, and we did not have a receipt. Apparently, they can only return with a receipt, and if not, its going to be a 50% reduced price for the item and paid back as a gift card!! I'm sure the item will go back on the store rack cuz it was unopened! They couldn't just paid back as a gift card for the full price I paid or lookup using my credit card. Never returning again!

I had a wonderful experience with an associate the other day. They helped me and my friend out with fabric and gave me awesome tips about sewing, which is something that I have no experience with. They even gave us some different art ideas for future projects. Thanks Taryn!
