Do not go here. I had Debbie do my taxes and I’ve been getting letters from the state of West Virginia about how they were done wrong ever since. The first letter said my return amount would go down from $220 to $90 because i had a form missing. I went back to get them to submit the correct form and they had no idea what to do. Eventually they did submit the form to the state but then I got ANOTHER letter saying it was wrong as well. I’m out more than $100 because they did my taxes wrong. Don’t bother going here.

I'm extremely disappointed with this h&r block location. I made an appointment online to do my taxes in person and after being about 20 minutes late, my tax representative told me she was too busy to do my taxes that day and that she was having too many computer issues. She was very upset clearly not having a good day so I tried not to think too much about it. But it seemed really weird. Additionally, when I was there, the woman at the front desk was being extremely unprofessional and yelling at another employee.
Well, my tax representative made copies of my taxes and told me she will get back to me by the end of the day or the next day at the latest. That was on Thursday. Monday comes around and I still haven't heard anything. I called back and she said she was " almost done" and will call me around 3pm.
She called me at 7:00 p.m. and told me she was still having computer issues and couldn't figure out my Ohio tax return (I was a resident of both states for the year).
Finally, the next morning she called me with the finished tax return to review online, and lo and behold, it had mistakes in it. A message her with concerns about these mistakes and hadn't heard back.
I immediately called the office and asked to speak to someone about the issue and to see a new tax representative. The person at the desk was very nice and got me in with someone else this evening, and that the manager would call me the next day but I still haven't heard from the manager.
Not to mention, I had to pay the $365 before I could even review the tax return that was filled with errors. As of right now I'm out $365 and still don't have a tax return.
Update 2 months later: The manager finally fixed my tax return and through that process I was informed that I overpaid $76. I was promised it would be returned to me in 3 weeks max and here we are 2 months later and still no refund from HRblock.
It gets worse. I inquired about this and was told it would be fixed two more times now and still no refund. I also inquired about how to pay a local tax from another state and the manager admitted that I actually didn't owe those taxes and they shouldn't have charged me to file in that state either. So even more money they owe me.
I keep getting lied to that I will get this money back and at this point I just give up and be out $100+. Never go here. Might be the worst experience I have ever have had with a business.

UPDATE:
I spoke with the site manager and she really made good. She promised to use the opportunity to further train her employee plus she offered some great incentives to us for our troubles. She connected us to a wonderful tax preparer, Nutan V, for our business taxes. The only reason I'm not changing the rating to a full five-star review is that I want it to reflect the original experience as well. All in all, they managed to turn a bad experience into a pretty darn good one!

The computers were glitching and required multiple reboots before our preparer could get our information to remain in the system. It frustrated our tax preparer and she was obviously frazzled (one of the other employees also made comments about how flighty she was).
She was a half-hour late for our appointment and she made a mistake (luckily in our favor). It meant she overcharged us for our taxes and we had to re-file - which meant another half hour on the phone with her after our appointment.
She also made veiled racist comments about how she "bet it was those foreign tech support workers who were causing the glitches."
All in all, it was a pretty terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this location of H&R Block.

Called multiple times couldnt get anyone on the phone got transfered to customer service they told me my simple tqxes would be $150 and i scheduled an appointment, they called to confirm my appointment and i asked again they said probably more like 190$, when i sit down im told its $360 but with a coupon i could get it lower. I got up and left took it to a CPA down the street for 225$. Even if i could get a coupon to lower it it was like they were just fishing for the highest price to charge me that I would accept which is what I expect from a used car dealer, not from someone i would trust to do my taxes.

I had an appointment with Barry at 1pm. I showed up at 1:05 pm due to traffic and they took a walk in and cancelled my 1pm appointment. The office Manager, Jennifer Taylor told me that I should have confirmed my appointment when they called this week. Because I didn’t confirm the appointment, they cancelled it. I have been coming to this office for years and never had a problem. No one called to tell me they were cancelling the appointment.

Run, do not walk, away from this company. Last year, my fiancé attempted to do his taxes through this company. They rarely, if ever, answered the phone during business hours. They were rude and less than helpful when he tried to set up appointments. They made him drive to an office in Beaver County, because the Cranberry Twp. store near us wasn't open, only to find out they had forgotten to prepare the paperwork they promised they'd have ready.
They are impossible to get ahold of, some of the ladies are incredibly rude, the ones that are helpful are only helpful on the day that you're talking to them and unavailable after that.
