I got my transmission built up last year with Gillece Transmission and after the one year warranty I got a problem with the same transmission but they did fix it for free. Thank you very much for your professionalism.

Had a great experience w Gillece for a clutch replacement on my Jeep. Great value, as Danny helped me consider different options than stock OEM equipment- which tuned out better, was available faster, and at lower costs. Appreciated the service and communications!

This place really sucked for a transmission repair shop. I would never take my car there. The person I talked to was really clueless about transmissions, and it seemed like it would be months and months before I could get my transmission repaired. I was told to drop my car off for at least a day to have the transmission checked. I’ve taken my car to other transmission shops for an estimate, and it’s only taken maybe an hour for them to road test the car and check the transmission. I would not recommend Gillece transmission to anyone.

I left my vehicle there for about 4 days which I was okay with I know that they were busy. But for them to drive my car and tell me that there was no issue and ask for 113$ is just a disappointment. Still nothing is fixed.

Dan at Gillece was excellent - willing to talk through the potential transmission issue, took my car in to evaluate the next day, and provided frequent and clear communication on what he was seeing and the path to fix it. Got the car back on the road quickly and working great!

I took my 87 Buick Grand National to upgrade the Torque converter and transmission. Danny and Jim provided excellent customer service as they excellent to deal with. I am very picky with where to take my classic car and I knew Jim from previous experiences and I knew he would take care of me. Jim has a ton of experience building transmissions and torque converters and he dyno tested my setup before installing. Danny did all the installation work and did a great job. They installed a torque converter as well as put a new exhaust on for me at my request. They did a fantastic job, I couldn't have asked for more.Services: Transmission

They said they would do it for 1800~2600 dollars, so I trusted it and fixed it.. They told me to pay 39000 dollars.. When they took out the mission, it was damaged because they touched the engine oil line.It was the worst experience. I would not go there again and would not recommend it.Service: Transmission

We have been using Gillece Transmissions for our company vehicles for the past few years, and we are very pleased with the service and extremely fast turnaround we receive. We always deal with Dan, and he is very friendly and very fair. He gets back to us right away with an assessment of what is wrong, and then we usually get our vehicle back within a day.
