I stayed at the Big Oaks Inn recently with my mom, son & dog. The motel allows pets, which is hard to find. The motel is small but very clean and well run. We experienced car trouble while visiting, and the motel owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Our stay needed to be extended, I needed to find a garage and transportation to & from the garage. Curtis (owner) went above and beyond what we would expect from a busy owner, especially during a holiday weekend! I will definitely visit again. Thank you so much Curtis!

We stayed for 2 days. Wonderful rooms. VERY clean, nice sized, awesome shower! Dollar general across the street for anything you forgot! In room coffee was a bonus!! Would stay again any day!!

Curtis is a hell of a guy. This is my ideal motel. Independent quiet motel surrounded by oak trees. Clean good room. Will return.

Rooms: The rooms, while not decadent, are VERY clean, very roomy, and well appointed.There are in-room coffee machines, mini refrigerators, and full bathtubs with showers— this, to me, is a wonderful thing.So many hotels now have tiny bathtubs, if a bathtub exists in room at all, and to be able to enjoy a clean, full sized bathtub in a normally priced hotel room is wonderful.Wi-Fi and Roku SmartTV are provided also.Nearby activities: Cherry Springs Astronomy ParkFall Foliage ViewingPennsylvania Grand CanyonTriple DivideSafety: This hotel is located on the edge of Coudersport, PA, the county seat of Potter County, the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds Area.The tagline of Potter County PA is “God’s Country” and it is one of the few last unspoiled natural areas of America.The Big Oaks inn used to be known in the area as “Paul’s Motel”.Hotel has brightly lit parking and well-lit interior hallways. I love these old timey motels along historic Route 6. Communication was prompt, check-in was quick, everything clean. The rooms were purchased at a good price, basic with necessities provided. We especially appreciated the location near everything we wanted to see and do. Thanks for a great stay!

Curtis is phenomenal he's super sweet very accommodating helps in every way possible that he is able to marrying the cleaning lady is very sweet and will get you anything that you need I got locked out of my room two nights in a row because I didn't realize that they were self-locking doors Curtis came up as soon as he could both times that was completely my fault LOL five stars all the way around he's so sweet you could not ask for a better owner!!

Easy to get to, the owner (?) was super friendly... the rooms are definitely dated, but clean and comfortable. The heat left a little to be desired, but overall it was a great value.

From the time we were first greeted, during our stay, til time we checked out, all staff were very helpful. They even got wrangled into throwing a Frisbee by my dog. Dollar general is located right across street for s'mores supplies an there are a few campfire setups behind building. Kids had fun as well as my
