“I am a trucker who was passing through. I stopped in to have a drink and a sandwich. I met Tommie behind the bar. She made me a sandwich (chicken bacon ranch, delicious) and I continued to have a few drinks. The conversation I shared with her was wonderful. Felt like I was talking to a friend. That is rare to find anymore. Thanks Tommie.”
“Went here for a funeral luncheon and was very surprised! Very beautiful inside! Food was very good and fresh! Staff and management were extremely friendly and hospitable. Sad that it no longer is a restaurant. But you would not amiss if you would schedule your next event here!”
“Fantastic place! My sons and I have been going to TopGolf for several years and have always had a great time. It’s a good place to go but… we just went to XGolf and we had the best time! Yes they have a different format and TopGolf is more geared towards kids. XGolf was just better. And the gentleman that was working was awesome. We played the front nine at Oakmont and got our butts kicked but holy cow was it a good time. Trust me! Check it out and reserve your time because this place is awesome!”

498 Camp Horne Rd, Pittsburgh“My wedding was at The Mayernik and it was a close to perfect as it could possibly be. Our Wedding Coordinator - Debbie - was so patient, helpful and really made sure our day went off without a hitch. I sent her so many emails leading up to the big day and she was always so responsive and accommodating. She's just the absolute best. The venue itself is beautiful, they have wonderful preferred vendors for catering and a list of vendors they often work with in the event you need suggestions. Our wedding and reception were inside with roughly 107 guests. There is plenty of space with a separate bar area and a great space for the ladies of the bridal party to get ready. Cost is incredibly reasonable with lots of optional add-ons (twinkle lights are a must) and flexibility. My guests (and husband and I), loved this space. I'm sad our day is over but so thankful for the beautiful memories from that venue!”
“Stopped there to walk around for a bit but nothing was in bloom due to the time of year we went. Still was a nice walk and building was very well maintained and new. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Had a gift shop there as well that seemed reasonably priced and well stocked. Nice place to visit any time of year if you're looking for something to do outside.”

“Wonderful theater space in a working class neighborhood. Great, different shows as well as community work. Every neighborhood needs an Iron Horse Theater Company”
“This is a great private club. They have a nice bar Munchie menu. As well as a few days of the week a dinner special. Food is made by the bartenders and bar manager. Shuffleboard table and electronic dartboards! Every 1pm or 4pm Steeker hane they have good eats free to members warching the game. It's cheap to join as well. There's a banquet hall to rent out. And EVERY Friday of the year, they have a fish fry open to the public! The food is delicious! Highly recommend this place whether it's for an event, Friday fish fry or to join a club!”
“Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, personable, and seemed genuinely happy to be doing what they're doing.Craftsmanship is on point; Sturdy and heavy duty. They make me want to paint so I can work with them more often.”
“I visited Sweetwater a few years ago for a pottery throwing class and I had the best time! We spent a good deal of time learning and throwing and then we had several pieces at the end of the workshop that we were able to come back and pick up! I'm interested in trying some of their other classes now. As an adult, it's intimidating to learn a new skill and find somewhere to go that's affordable and friendly. This place was perfect!!! I went for a date and would recommend it as a cute date night or a place to go with friends.”

“Nice clean place but SO EXPENSIVE! Family of 4 played 3 games, 2 pitchers of beer, fries ($13), and 2 other apps and it was $175. We won’t go back due to cost- that’s more than top golf or Dave n busters!”

“We had our wedding of 125 guests at Cozzi Acres on 10.7.23. When we were searching for venues, we immediately fell in love . Its rustic, antique vibe is exactly what we were looking to get married in. It's the perfect spot for a fall wedding! With all of the antiques inside, the place practically decorates itself for your special day.Matt and Sandy are two of the sweetest people ever. They are incredibly easy to work with and will do everything to assure your day is perfect. Them and their team truly go above and beyond!I highly recommend booking the farmhouse all weekend too. My bridal party and I stayed the night before and had a blast just playing board games and relaxing. It made waking up the next morning to get ready easier. It was also nice to be a couple steps away at the end of the night when you're exhausted from dancing. Our wedding was a magical night we'll remember forever. I can confidently say that we could not have picked a better venue for our dream wedding.”

100 Chauvet Dr, Pittsburgh“I stayed in a suite March 16 just for the night. Needed to catch shuttle at 7:15 to airport and was only in the room for about 12 hours. Did not know it had a kitchenette, which unfortunately I did not need, so I’m assuming that’s why I had to place $100 deposit. It’s only been 2 days and I’m sure it’ll be returned to my account soon, I hope. Lol. Very nice people at desk. Shuttle was very convenient.Rooms: Dated, but clean.”

5100 Campbells Run Rd, Pittsburgh“Why 5 stars? The staff!!!! Danny and Blaze are two of the nicest hotel staff you will ever meet. Seriously these guys need to be recognized on a national level by Marriott. Huge shout out also to Dianne, Bryson and Lynn. Clean hotel, friendly staff, And excellent food! We will definitely be back! Oh and the blue cheese dressing is out of this world. Danny deserves a Michelin star for that!Rooms: They were like the best rooms ever. Interesting designNearby activities: 15 minutes from the STEELERS. Say no more fam!Safety: Let me start by saying I NEVER leave my wife alone at a bar. On the second night I had to get up briefly to use the rest room and there were some other people at the bar/bistro there I didn’t know yet, and I felt so safe and secure knowing Danny was there. That’s trust, man!Food & drinks: The food was fantastic! Actually skipped going back to the city in favor of these tasty treats. Danny and blaze know how to cook!”

817 W View Park Dr, Pittsburgh“2 bays, 1 is touchless, the other has brushes. I prefer touchless so as not to scratch or break mirrors and accessories. It soaks, then soaps, then soap sprays at high pressure then rinses at high pressure 2x, then waxes, then rinses again. The touchless works very well to clean off light dirt and salt residue, and the turbo fan dry at the end prevents water spots.”

6011 Campbells Run Rd, Pittsburgh“The location is near airport. The building is old, but the rooms were clean, spacious, had all that’s required for a comfortable stay. The service was great, I forgot toothpaste & they got up there in a jiffy to provide it. Checking in and out was smooth. The breakfast was excellent & hot.Rooms: Spacious rooms, mine had a king bed. Good shower, basin, sofa, work station & a kitchenette.Food & drinks: The cafe was good.Breakfast had the usual stuff, juice, pork sausages, potato triangles, eggs, waffles, yogurt etc.”
“The room was pretty decent. It did have a strange smell when I first got to the room but it did go away after some time. The toilet did make a loud noise after being flushed and the water pressure wasn’t the best but I got the job done. I did wish that the shop inside was open a little later as I wasn’t able to visit there to get drinks or snacks. I liked that you could walk across to Terminal B. Overall, a good stay if you’re wanting to stay close to the airport.”
