Overall it was a pretty good hotel, we had some issues though.The Good:We arrived and check-in was super quick and the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good as a continental. Most of the staff were friendly.The Bad:After spending some time in the room we began to notice some issues.1. The toilet area smelled like pee.2. There were discolored drip stains on the ceiling of the bathroom.3. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom (presumably the reasons for the stains)4. Manager Terry was not very kind or professional.5. We could hear our neighbors pretty well late into the night.6. The sconce and plug on my side of the bed didn't work7. The hotel was being remodeled, which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website while booking. (In fact, the website says "Enjoy the beautifully renovated Pittsburgh Airport Marriott")7.5. There was no hot tubThe Worst:I went to check out in the morning and met Manager Terry (mentioned earlier). I wanted to tell her about the problems we had in the room so they could fix them. I walked up to the front desk and stood there for probably 20 seconds. During which Terry ignored me and continued to micromanage the maintenance man replace a light bulb at her desk. Finally she said in an irritated tone "Yes?"I told her I was checking out, and she said "ok" and turned back and started talking to the maintenance man. I stood there another few seconds, wanting to share my concerns. But she never gave me a second look.I went to have breakfast and the gentleman preparing the food kindly explained that I needed a voucher to redeem my free breakfast, and I'd have to get one at the from desk. So I went back to Terry. As if I was bothering her she said "Can I help you?" I explained that I needed my voucher for breakfast. And all she said was "room?" and filled out the voucher, slapped it on the counter. I said "thank you." And she didn't reply.Conclusion:Most of these issues weren't that big of a deal, and I'd dare say I'd expect some of these in a run of the mill hotel. But being a Bonvoy member I'd expect Marriot to put a little more effort in. Especially at the price point of this hotel.

The room was pretty decent. It did have a strange smell when I first got to the room but it did go away after some time. The toilet did make a loud noise after being flushed and the water pressure wasn’t the best but I got the job done. I did wish that the shop inside was open a little later as I wasn’t able to visit there to get drinks or snacks. I liked that you could walk across to Terminal B. Overall, a good stay if you’re wanting to stay close to the airport.

Only ever had meetings here. Dress for the winter if your business is hosting a meeting in the conference rooms. It's always freezing

I am a Titanium member. Had a stain, didn't ask for anything but to get it changed. Came down at 10 pm, waited 15 minutes, went upstairs, and they changed the covers and not the sheets. Called again, went downstairs again, and waited for another 15. Now I'm getting back to my room at 11:12 pm. I was offered credits and points. I'm not really interested in that. I really just wanted to sleep. Take a look at the image. How can someone miss this when they started to clean the room, and how does a second person who gets called to take care of it misses it as well. Please do better.

Elevators broken and backed up with people. It’s 161 steps up to the tenth floor. Did the climb a lot during our 3 night stay.

I stayed at the hotel for an event. They had an amazing ballroom and more! The one thing I would do is heat the pool more, it was freezingRooms: The rooms were really clean. We had great room serviceNearby activities: Dunkin’ Donuts, sheetz and moreSafety: The rooms were super safe. They had really good locks on the door. One thing they could fix are the locks in the bathroomWalkability: There was a Dunkin donut right next door. Everything was really close

Our first stay in 2022 was awesome. We stayed on the 10th floor and our room was very comfy. This hotel was so busy at the front desk alongside family events in which customer service was a little impacted, but overall it was always clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We are retuning this year and my expectations are high because I really enjoyed my stay.

We recently had a work meeting at the hotel and the meeting area and amenities were outstanding. A lot of times when you get 200 plus people in a meeting room it is crowded and hot, but the temperature was perfect. After being there for a little bit, I remembered that my wife and I stayed there before we left for our honeymoon in 2004! From what I remembered, the room and service was excellent in 2004, and I can only expect the same in 2024.

The rooms are clean and decent and it's in a good location but it's ridiculous that they charge 20 per person for a cold bland breakfast and they say they have a Starbucks but it's just Starbucks coffee with a few flavors. No lattes or anything. This place was overall very disappointing.

We live about exactly opposite of the airport in Pittsburgh, so we frequently stay here and take advantage of the parking plans and shuttles to the airport. We get a little extra sleep on mornings we fly and easily get back and forth with their shuttle service!Recently we got in later than we expected (after midnight) because Spirit Airlines is awful (but that's another story) and the nice driver stayed a little extra to make sure that we got a ride!This is why I'm loyal to Marriott!
