I hate leaving negative reviews but anyone who is looking to shop here read the following before doing so.Pros:1. They have an impressive collection of species including some foreign species that I have only seen once or twice.2. Free entrance feeCons:1. Animal mismanagement and medical concerns.No one should stand for the mismanagement of animals and it’s a true shame that in almost every aspect they have failed to maintain adequate management. Roughly half of the animals kept were underfed, kept in extremely small enclosures, or kept in tanks which could not meet the needs of the animals.2. Safety concernsThere were not locks on venomous animals enclosures. Thus these animals, mainly snakes, can be let out by an untrained individual.3. CostEverything is marked up heavily compared to other alternatives. The only exception to this are goldfish and beta fish.4. Aquatic Enclosure Occupant NumbersPutting 50+ fish in a small tank is unforgivable.

I love this shop so much. I legit don't buy from other places if I don't have to. They're very caring towards all their animals and are so open and willing to help you if you have any issues with your animal. I'm literally always telling people about Off the Hook.From what I know it's family owned and operated. Everyone is incredibly nice and friendly, as well.

I hate posting negative reviews, but I also hate seeing 50+ betta fish housed together in a single dirty tank and completely torn up. They had multiple tanks that contained dozens of bettas. They have a great variety of animals, but I’d prefer a smaller selection if it meant a better quality of life.

I came in asking questions about my daughter gecko. Got honest answers and went back and they set my home for the gecko. Fantastic shop won't go anywhere again. My daughter is already planing her next pet and we look forward to coming back soon!

Very professional and helpful But really overpriced. ( one neon tetra and a molly $15.00) Also the store smells so bad if your like me you may have a hard time staying. It’s really gross in there too. The tanks were very cloudy and it was just not a place that I’d wanna return without a lot of updates. And cleaning.
