La Poblanita Grocery is a business featuring a great taco stand and an interesting grocery. Customers pay inside the former convenience store and take a ticket to order outside at the griddle, where tacos are ready quickly. There is an area under the awning to choose toppings and salsa, with picnic tables for seating. The tacos are generously proportioned, reasonably priced, and considered some of the best, close to being authentic Mexican. Some note the al pastor tacos are not prepared in the specific traditional style. The store is clean and friendly. The business can accommodate larger catering orders with advance notice. The attached grocery offers items like very good mandarin oranges and sometimes fresh lychee fruit, though the drink cooler variety is limited. Across the street, under the same name, are additional establishments: one serving spicy and delicious menudle soup and an ice cream shack with window service. The mojarra frita from the ice cream shack is cooked perfectly, flaky, and served with hot, charred tortillas, though some find the rice and beans need more flavor.
Excellent it was always my favorite while I was around that place
