Unsure what the point of having a drop box for old/unused medications is for when the employees at the pharmacy yell at you for trying to use it. Apparently it's under lock and key and someone working there has to unlock it for you, which could have easily been communicated via a sign on the box, of which there was none. I guess it was more effective for them to yell and make a spectacle about it. Lesson learned, and my old medication will be going in to the garbage next time!

Had a horrible experience with ASHLIN, pharmacy tech... spoke with HER at 9AM... ordered refill.. ASHLIN took the information...I had another prescription ordered days before.... wanted to know if new refill could be ready same day...ASHLIN SAID YES After 12 NOON.
GOT TO THE PHARMACY AT 2PM...ASHLIN NEVER ORDERED MY REFILL AND LIED AND LIED TO ME ABOUT IT!!!
She's new. Young.. AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE AND GETTING THEM THEIR MEDICINE!!! BE WARE!

They are very slow at filling prescriptions. All my anticonvulsant medications take 5-8 days to fill. I’ve come down to only having one day left of my anti-convulsant medications and they still didn’t fill it. Thankfully I found an extra set of pills in a purse to take for another day before I got my medication.
They also refused to change my health insurance. health insurance person a pharmacist and I were on the phone and the pharmacist still wouldn’t change it. The pharmacist argued with the health insurance til they finally changed it.
Now I’m just waiting again 3 days left of my anti-convulsant pills will they fill it in time or will I go a few days without my meds. They don’t care.

Seriously lazy people. Any other Giant Eagle pharmacy, and there's several things they can do to help. These guys just whine and tell you to go somewhere else, if you so much as ask them to transfer more than one script at a time. Inefficient and honestly rude, if you ask them to do anything they just don't want to that day.If you don't want to do your job because it got a little tedious, find a different one instead of basically telling people to screw off and getting just downright mean with the passive-aggressive tone.Sorry some people have memory problems, and need some extra help? Sorry some people struggle more than is convenient for you?Christ, these people are lazy. And honestly ableist, if you consider they get mean if you need more help than others.

Always nice, it annoys me when I spell my child's name and tell them it's his first name and they sometimes don't understand. But the lovely regular people working are amazing, quick, nice and answer every single question!

I switched from a nightmare of back to back bad experiences with Walgreens to GEPharmacy and I have been there at least 6 months with not a single issue. Everything goes smoothly even though my son’s medication is not one typically kept on hand and needs filled manually monthly. I don’t have to deal with “partial fills” that mess with my insurance or not having the medication in stock when it’s time for refills. The staff are professional and do their job well. Highly recommend.

Giant Eagle is my favorite store in the area, and, when my daughter visits from Florida, it is one of her "go-to" stores, as well. The store always seems very clean, the store staff pleasant and helpful, and they are doing better with stocking "health" foods. No complaints from me!!
