READ FOR THE HONEST TRUTHStayed here following the Taylor Swift concert in Pittsburgh. Checked into the hotel between 1 and 1:30 AM. We were exhausted from being outside all day that we just fell asleep for the night. After waking up in the morning and really examining the hotel, we were not impressed with what we saw.The room smelled like an old room or house that someone has smoked in for a while like it was stuck to the walls. We booked a. non-smoking room and I confirmed it twice (both online and in person). There were dead stinkbugs in the lighting above the desk and tv area as well as above the bed. The leather chairs were ripped so bad the filling underneath was easily seen and stunk. It was very outdated. I am used to most hotels having more areas to charge devices as well as USB ports for charging with they did not have. 4 of us were not able to completely charge our devices throughout the night. I paid $295 for one night at this hotel. We left right around checkout the following morning between 10 and 11 AM. Upon exiting the building, I looked for a front desk attendant to explain to them what we saw in our room. There was nobody behind the desk and we had plans already scheduled and were not going to be able to wait. I decided to just contact the hotel via email from the feedback survey that was sent to me. They said there was an attendant and sent me a picture from the security camera. From the angle of the camera apparently there was somebody there, but he was crouched down behind a computer monitor sitting off to the right of the desk and when looking at the desk on the way out, he was not seen. He also did not say anything to us like "have a good day" so we had no idea he was there. There was no bell or anything to get an attendants attention. The emails I got from this establishment were anything but professional and they refuse to do anything for me. I was told I "didn't complain about my issues" when from a guest's perception, there was nobody to complain to. They also sent me a screenshot of the security camera at 7:44 AM and claimed that it was us after I had previously told them what time I left. So, not only did they speak with me unprofessionally, they also tried to accuse me of being someone I was not. Like, it's not that hard to read. I sent them an email saying I left around 11 and they proceeded to immediately find the first two women who walked out in the morning and claim it was me. I would not recommend this place because it is outdated, but I would especially not recommend it from a lack of customer service. I spent $295 to stay at this hotel just to have that experience. Never again. I will drive home in the middle of the night after events in Pittsburgh before staying at this place again. I'd probably even sleep in my car. Nobody wants dead stink bugs hanging above their heads. As someone who also works and has experience in customer service, this was handled poorly. If you don't like stink bugs I suggest going somewhere else unless you want to risk one falling on you while you're sleeping.

No fitness room and no free breakfast as advertised. Showed up and its not even a days inn. Its a motel 6 with the same address. Didnt look for it but i highly doubt there is a working pool.

Surprised at the courtesy and professionalism of the staff! Still no breakfast but I wish we had coffee in the lobby. Also beware that the queen rooms are really small. It was totally OK for my weekend stay and it would’ve been ok for longer. But it is smaller than it looks in the pics

Pros:1) Great price2) Nice big window with greenery view3) All ameneties - refrigerator, microwave, iron, blowdryer, coffee machine in the room4) Prompt service from desk staffCons:1) Noisy as the walls are thin. Anyone who talks in the lobby or neighboring rooms, you can hear them clearly.2) When someone smokes in the smoking rooms, the smoke seeped into my non-smoking room- could smell weed and cigarettes for 2 days. Was not fun. Hope management fixes this issue.

No longer a Days Inn. It was temporarily called Airport Lodging and it’s now a Motel 6. I’ve been staying in this hotel for months and had few complaints. But now that they are Motel 6 they are telling me that they are no longer required supply shampoo anymore. Straight up refused to give me any! So now, after working a 12hr shift, I have to run back up town to get some shampoo to wash my hair! Simply unacceptable! I’ll never be back! Shame to lose a loyal customer over what, $1’s worth of shampoo? And I will post this on every site I can find!

Located very interior and looked to be a shady place. House keeping staff was helpful but the rooms are a compromise, washroom doors do not have handles and cannot lock. Toilets do have an exhaust fan which makes the room stink. Air conditioners are quite old and makes a lot of noise in the night, left me sleepless. No laundry bags. Rooms look cheap and not well maintained furniture. Cheap 2 star hotel but charges you more for a night. Which is kinda ridiculous.

It's called a MOTEL 6. I was a bit disappointed for a few reasons. Room was very dated. Light wasn't working. GFI outlet plug wasn't working for the hair dryer. Only one small trash can. Only 2 pillows. It was very quiet for sleeping. Staff was helpful when there was an issue with the vending machine. Had a very nice room service menu. Didn't use it. Not sure if I would go back.

Day 1 I tried to use business center desk. Although you can tell it was neglected and not cleaned daily. Both inside the desk and on top where extremely dusty. Which confused me because there was no shortage of staff during the day or night. I informed the manager and it was promptly cleaned and polish. I had difficulty getting a taxi or lyft. I had to call many car services. I would have been helpful if there was a phone accessible in the lobby for local call. Otherwise, quiet hotel and clean rooms and hot water was okay.

If I could give them 0 stars that would be too high. First, they are no longer a Days Inn. In fact, they are Airport Lodging Pittsburgh Airport. HMMM. Yet hotwire advertised them as a 3 1/2 star hotel. They are far from it. I have worked and grew up in the hotel industry so I, as many others, rely on those ratings to fit our expectations. NO hot water during our stay. They claim I never reported it to them. Not so! Why oh why would I not? Reported and spoke to 2 different people at the front desk. Basically a "he said she said" situation. How does a hotel not have hot water? They offered to move me. Why would that get me hot water. Doesn't it all come from the same place? I asked that... and silence. Nobody sent to check on it and couldn't guarantee hot water in the other room but said that I would have a better shot if moved to lower floor and lower number room. WHAT? I was told that my room was "far away". What the heck does that mean? The people at the end of the line can suck it? I was also told that we needed to run it longer. I guess 10 minutes on the hottest setting doesn't count. Plus, it was very late and after a long day of moving, we just wanted sleep. The rooms was basic and chair was heavily stained (no sitting there). The towels were thin and almost see through. Seems to me that they didn't want to do what they needed to in order to keep the Days Inn branding. This appears to be a family run hotel now and they have some major issues. Take my advise and run far and fast from not only this hotel, but also know that Hotwire does not stand by the customers!

This seems like an out of the way location for a hotel, but it really really works.Low traffic flow around the hotel = safer.Hotel was quiet (little in the way of outside noise), well run (staff always around and greeted us every time we came through the lobby), very clean (room + hallways + common areas), well managed. They have all of the necessity COVID-19 precautions = closed off dining area + plastic partitions at check-in desk + limited capacity elevators.Highly recommend the establishment.Do yourself a favor and join Wyndam Rewards if you haven't already done so = discounts on stays + additional perks. Well worth your time...

Just stayed last night. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I wanted a clean, reasonably priced hotel, close to the airport. I was very pleased with everything about this property! Check in was easy, and the folks working were very helpful and pleasant. The common areas were very clean, and well kept. The breakfast area was no-op, but this is to be expected with the virus. When I got to my room I was MORE THAN IMPRESSED. Very clean! I am a smoker, thus the reason for choosing a business hotel that will meet my needs too - and although I smoke, I don't want to sleep in a room that reeks. This room did not have an odor to it at all! it was very clean and fresh. The bed - OMG - I did not want to get up for work today! TOO Comfortable! Lastly - the location - very close to the airport and to local eateries. I can assure you - I will be returning to this property many times for my business needs. Thanks for a great stay!
