The owner DOES NOT ACCEPT CITGO CREDIT CARDS. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Visa, Mastercard or Discover Card, if it has the “CITGO” logo on it, the owner will not accept it as payment even though he OWNS A CITGO GAS STATION!! Pull up to this guys gas station and everywhere you look its endless advertisements for CITGO credit cards, and instructions on how to use the cards and the rewards programs associated with them. Makes no sense!This location is bogus anyway. The prices for anything sold inside is outrageous, the pump layout and parking is a mess and don’t expect fast service inside.

most staff is very nice and appear approachable. except this older gentleman. My husband went in to purchase cigarettes and because he didnt have an ID was refused service. understandable, we all have a job to do. proceeds to come back to the car and grab his passport identification as we are waiting for his new drivers license in the mail. The cashier proceeds to say "we cannot accept that" im sorry but when has a FEDERAL ID not been sufficient in any way for any identification process. by now, im fuming we are going to be late for my maternity appointment. I myself proceed to go in to the store and purchase his cigarettes and this gentleman denies me because I am buying them for someone else. WE ARE BOTH OF LEGAL AGE with valid identification. Needless to say I wont be returning to this stop during the morning.
