they don’t care about animals. they wouldn’t take the stray we saved because we didn’t live in mont county. even though within a 5 mile radius. the manager or supervisor lady in the back didn’t budge or offer any customer service at all. luckily we did end up taking the stray to ACCT and they took her in without a problem. when you think about donations, give to an agency that deserves it, that truly cares about saving the animals not only about the area the human who’s bringing in the animal lives. give to a place with good customer service and a manager who respects people. i’ll never even come back for adoption nor will i allow my friends who live in mont county.

We took a lost B&W Tuxedo kitty here at 5pm on a Thursday, the process was simple, and our concerns and questions were answered. Happy to know that, that cat will be looked after until it finds its furever home.

Very bad and disrespectful attitude of the guy in front desk. If you hate your job so bad just quit already. You are a government worker getting paid by our tax money so show some respect. We are good people getting out of our to rescue animals. Just quit!SPCA should have better employees than that.

It’s been awhile since we adopted, but I wanted to share our adoption story. My husband and I adopted, Leo, our cat at the Conshocken location in 2017. He was considered lost at the time and we put in an application. I called twice a day to check on him and visited a few times that week. Halfway through the week, he had a sign on his cage that they weren’t accepting more applications for him. I was a little anxious thinking that if he had a lot of applications, we may not be lucky enough to get him. But as soon as his 7 day lost period was up, we got the call that we were chosen to adopt. Leo is now almost 7 years old. He has grown with our family to our new home and has adapted to his new (human) brother. The SPCA was affordable and made sure he left with his shots. He was also neutered and chipped for us. Leo came home with a cough and the SPCA gave us medicine for him free of charge. The SPCA does great and difficult work. Adopt don’t shop.

They only took the phone number. Didn't help at all to get him back. I did all the hard work to get him back. I even paid a heavy price to get him back. He was I are garbage. Hiding in a box of clothes. The cat was so afraid and angry. He took it out on me. Bit me up over 15 times. He also spit my thumb up. I was taken up to the hospital for treatment. I am glad relive on them to get him home. I think the old saying is if you want something done right do it yourself

Nice selection of dogs but you have to fill out an application and hopefully you'll be picked because you and others may be looking at the same animal

Some of the staff members are nice however I had a run in with a male staff member that was downright very rude…. It’s very unfortunate because I was asking a simple question and really wanted to adopt one of the sweet kitties but I don’t think I’ll be coming back due to this man’s attitude and tone

Friday shift had a nice woman that gave me information about the spca. Sunday shift was determined to make sure I was inconvenienced and turned away from them. I don't really understand the attitude, but it was so poor that I am going to make sure I visit/volunteer at other SPCA spots and not this one. I got a real sparky dude on the phone Sunday that sounded like they just wanted to keep me away from their site. Very surprising but I have met people with care jobs that were real bitter and rude like that before, so maybe not so shocking. Anyways, will make sure to volunteer or work for the other spca spots. This one successfully drove me away, which it seemed like that was their goal. Weirdo.
