Matt and Marcus came to my rescue on Friday and were knowledgeable and personable! They came within an hour of submitting my repair request and worked so efficiently! They explained everything they were doing; showing me how the problem came to be and how they were fixing it. They absolutely went above and beyond what I expected and I can’t emphasize this enough but I’m so VERY happy with the new maintenance team, specifically Matt and Marcus!

My experience living at Sherry Lake in Conshohocken has been good!Pros: Friendly staff (Paul is the only one I know by name that I've interacted with), quiet community with friendly people, dogs allowed, updated apartment with modern appliances, each apartment gets their own back patio or balcony, lake view from my apartment, lots of green space for dog walking or playing children, wonderful & relaxing pool area with many lounge chairs and shaded tables, reasonable rent prices comparedto other apartment complexes in the area, keyless touch code entrance into apartmentCons: Maintenance comes unannounced, whenever works for their schedules; in order to show more respect for tenant privacy, it would be wise for maintenance workers or other apartment staff members to reach out via phone to schedule an appt. or at the minimum let the tenant know when maintenance staff will be visiting. The grass could be cut more frequently, as they tend to let it go longer than I would prefer. There could also be more flowers planted around the complex (e.g. there is a tree right near my back patio that has a circular area of soil around it but nothing planted there). I would love to plant something there, but don't think I am allowed.Overall, 4/5 stars and would recommend Sherry Lake to anyone seeking a quiet, reasonably priced community away from the river and business of Fayette St.

Over priced apartments for poor quality homes and difficult to deal with leasing staff.Neighbors are quite good and the locality is a plus with a good school district, Giant-Weiss nearby.Maintenance has been terrible for complete 2022 and first half of 2023.Recently they hired two new maintenance persons which are efficient than the previous maintenance persons.Tickets still get closed without actually resolving the problem (this is slightly reduced with the new maintenance staff but still happens).Walls are super thin and you can hear dogs barking from adjacent apartments, music/radio being played can be heard in your apartment.Flooring squeaks even with an average weighted person. Common areas are rarely cleaned. Many apartments have rodents issue (I personally encountered rats issue).Appliances are old in most of the apartments.Be ready to pay $90-$150 as monthly utilities fee on and above your rent.

We enjoyed living here in 1966-70. The exterior looks almost exactly the same. There was a bad flood that I remember. Made it to our apartment. If anyone finds any buried 1969 Baseball cards or plastic army guys they're probably mine.

Sherry Lake has been a great place for me to live for my first time on my own, and that is thanks to the care that management takes. There have been shakeups with the maintenance team in the year+ that I have lived here but the recent switch to a different team has worked very well. Matt in particular is an excellent addition who is both very personable and knowledgeable.I would recommend Sherry Lake to someone looking to live in the Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting area, especially those who want to avoid the higher rent prices in the surrounding area.

Rent is way over-priced. the leasing office is extremely undependable. No one from leasing arrived on my move in date to provide keys and necessary documents. I had to be let in by maintenance. I was never provided a mail key or gym key. I had to go the office multiple times just to get them because every time I went the office was locked. When I was finally able to get someone they still did not know where my mail key was. Thankfully I didn't have any mail being forwarded since I was only short term. They tried charging me almost an extra $300 my second month there until someone finally called me back and said it was an error in the system. the tub was backed up on the first day I moved in. They fixed it the next day but I was left with a significant mess to clean up. The flooring was damaged and had paint specs all over it. the blinds continuously fell. The heating went out so many times I lost count how many times I had to call maintenance. It went out about 4x in one night my first week there and the man that came out was banging, yelling and cursing so loud out in the HVAC room when he was fixing it, it woke me up. The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbors alarm go off in the morning to wake up. Let's not talk about all the random move in and out fees they tack on. I was grateful initially that they were able to accommodate me as quickly as I needed with a short term lease but now I see why. Thankfully I was only there for 2 months. I only highlighted some of the issues in the 8 weeks I lived there. The only plus to this property is how quiet and beautiful the grounds are and how the convivence of its location to the area.

I highly recommend Sherry Lake Apartments. The application process is easy and convenient. The staff is very knowledgeable, and provide you with all the information necessary to ease the move in process. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO BRIANNA for all the support.

I was told I couldn't live here because my mixed breed dog is 5% shepherd. Yes, 5%.... Breed doesn't guarantee anything except someone's bias.

Main take away, price is far too high for the quality delivered.Maintenance workers are very nice/professional. Work orders generally get fulfilled quickly. However, the price for the quality of home you get simply isn't worth it. Specifically because there is new construction down the street offering similar size spaces for lower monthly costs. Do your homework before purchasing a lease at Sherry Lake as there are other far higher quality complexes that either the same or much lower in cost.Half of the spaces do not get direct sun light (mine does not, nor does anyone on my side of this particular building). be thorough during your walk through. This issue contributes to the quality of living particularly for an $1800/month, 1 bedroom, non renovated space. The walls are paper thin as well as old flooring makes every step from your neighbors in every direction heard including below. I can clearly hear my neighbors phone calls as I am sure they can hear mine, which is something to expect in far cheaper complexes, but not at this price point. The upsides are, the employees in the office are nice and usually responsive to inquiries. Work orders are tracking pretty closely. The open parking is actually pretty decent, never had an issue. As referenced above, check the new construction just down the road, as of December, they are offering great specials that make the month to cost less than Sherry Lake. I believe the entire area over priced their apartments and now can't retain/fill the units.. ~$2k a month (back in August-October) for 1 bedrooms is a bit ridiculous when you get average at best living.

The most difficult thing about dealing with Sherry Lakes is their deceptive / misleading billing practices. Be vigilant or they'll slap a $100 late fee.

I have stayed in Sherry Lake Apt before, and due to my work relocation I left. When I come back I choose Sherry Lake again. I got chances living in both one and two bedrooms and both experiences are good. Also they added some new amenities for kids recently. Caren in the leasing office is very helpful and responsible. In general it's a very comfortable stay here.
