These guys are honest and excellent! What my dealer told me to do was to spend over $8k to repair my 2015 gl450, but they repaired it for far less, and after few months, car's still running great, and I'm posting here to show my appreciation!

C.S. Cantlin has been my go to spot after some bad experiences with the Mercedes dealership where I was originally bringing my car. I can’t say enough good things about Cantlin Automotive. Today I brought my car in for what I figured would be a huge ordeal and they fixed it so quickly and even fixed a separate issue for free. I was so impressed I wanted to immediately write this review for them. They are so awesome to work with. At this point I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else but here, they are the best.Service: General repairs & maintenance

On July 28 while driving back from New Jersey on vacation, we were driving on the turnpike through Philadelphia when a large green plastic bag blew across the turnpike and under my car and wrapped around my drive shaft. Finding out that this can do irreparable harm, we pulled over to take a look and see what we can do. While trying to get back on the turnpike, we missed the exit and had to take a longer route. This was a blessing in disguise, as we ran across Cantlin's automotive and I explained my situation, and they were willing to take a look and help with no questions asked.....and I do not own a Mercedes.They were able to fix the problem, and send me on my way. I can't thank them enough for the help and I'm sorry that I posted this so late.

Fit me in immediately because my tire was leaking air. Nick was so helpful- looked at my car right away, he fixed my tire FOR FREE. It took five minutes. We were headed through the area and at 6 hours to go when our old Toyota sienna threw an engine light. We stopped in and they checked it for us and even reset our tire pressure light even though we clearly didn't have a Mercedes vehicle. Their attentiveness and willingness to help us out was very appreciated

I have two vintage/classic Mercedes - Cantlin has serviced and repaired both, including fixing the convertible top lifters, which has challenged other repair shops (and a Mercedes dealer). Cantlin's work was excellent, cars were ready when promised, and the charges were reasonable/less than other shops. Nick Eby, the service manager, is a professional who is a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely continue to bring these cars and our others to Cantlin when they need work/service..Services: General repairs & maintenance

Two years ago, I purchased a 560 Sel which ran but needed some work. As usual on a 30 year old car there were a lot of things needing repair and updating. The staff got all the power equipment working again including the wipers on the headlights, the heated seats, instrument panel which had burned out lights etc. they flushed out the water inlets on the sunroof and tracked a leak going down the A pillars. All in all it was about 6k with of parts and labor but that was more than fair to rehab a dinosaur of a car. Just the expertise to work on a thirty year old German car like this is worth the five stars. They may take a long time to work on it but for my car they had to get replacement parts from different areas of the country which takes time. The wait is worth it.

LAST YEAR I TOOK MY 2012 BENZ TO CAITLIN BECAUSE I WAS HEARING A HUMMING NOISE AND MY CAR WOULD CUTOFF ONCE I STOPPED . CAITLIN TOLD ME " THE TRANSMISSION SEAL IS LEAKING, A PART NEEDED AND FLUID". WAIT FOR IT....$3000+. I ALLOWED CAITLIN TO DO THE WORK. THE END OF JUNE 2022, I HEARD THE SAME NOISE BUT THIS TIME MY CAR SHIFTED ODDLY. I took my car back to CAITILIN. I was told $2000 because the work needed wasn't covered. I just got off from work so I didn't have the fight in me. I took my car to a specialist on mcdade Blvd in glenolden. The specialist told me that my transmission seal wasn't leaking, I did not need any parts but CAITILIN replaced the transmission pan in the wrong way. They didn't want to charge me. I asked the specialist if I could get my transmission cleaned just to remove Caitlin's deceitful lies and THIEVERY. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND WANT YOUR CAR TOO LAST DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH CAITLIN.
