Did an over night stay. Fishing adventures to many places within only miles from here. Literally right across the highway from many places like Eat n Park, the Outlets,Sheetz ,Primanti Bro,etc.
Our tv volume wasn't working, called down.Within 2 minutes the lady was fixing it. Sauna and inside pool looked great. Has a very nice outside cute lit up area with a small fire pit to relax around. Multiple areas to exit and enter the building while I enjoyed very much. We parked right outside our main floor window. Which is also were we would exit and enter for easiest convenience. We usually get handicapped access and the shower is just a nice walk in,no stepping up over anything to get all cleaned up. Has a nice removable shower chair/ bench as well. All good for the both of us,had a great stay.
Rooms: Handicapped room had a queen bed, chair ,2 end stand, dresser with tv( we hooked our Xbox up) free WiFi which was a very good connection, maybe 2 wall lamps ,small area nearest the door to hang your clothes on. The only thing i just thought was different was the pillows. They were squared, but with rectangle pillowcases lol. Used them to rest my tired head though.
Nearby activities: Outlet shopping, fishing, swimming, biking, walking, site seeing, dinning out,gas stations.

Put this place on your list if riding the GAP( bike friendly) or exploring Falling Water-Ohiopyle, etc. we actually ditched another hotel stay in another town to stay here longer. Staff was very friendly. Connelsville is definitely a diamond in the rough- we really enjoyed our stay here.
Rooms: Clean, nice air conditioning ( no rattles!) definitely recommend the riverside. Some train noise, but didn’t really impact our overall sleep- which actually both slept great there( I’m usually a poor hotel sleeper).
Nearby activities: Falling water. Great Allegheny Passage( GAP) Trail- hotel is located on the trail. Hotel offers bike and kayak rentals and shuttle services.
Safety: At first we gave pause to this location/ the town is coming back/ rebound - but no issues at all. Put this place on your list of options.
Food & drinks: Good breakfast- waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, eggs, sausage, etc. Coffee 24/7- good quality.
Noteworthy details: Great relaxing deck- Adirondack Chairs right on the river. Trains!?. Great breakfast!

Very nice river side hotel on Highway. Rooms are big and newly renovated. You can go to riverside and enjoy the view. There is a huge parking lot just in front of the hotel and there is no charge for car parking. Staff were polite and helpful.

My mom and I happened to come across this hotel in our travels to Ohio. We would without a doubt stop here again and again. Lovely, clean rooms by the river, sweet service by the staff(thank you, Jessica!) and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. 5+ stars!

The hotel was right off of the Great Allegheny Passage Trail. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating to cyclists. The room was nice and clean with a great view of the Yough river.
Noteworthy details: The hotel offered us towels to wipe down our bikes. Provided secure storage with a track pump for inflating tires. Very welcoming to cyclists.

Came here for training and visiting family. Stayed for a week and loved the stay. Everything was great! Staff was kind, everything was clean, breakfast was great. They do have a bar in the hotel, but did not get a chance to go to it. Pool is small. The only negative I have is that when showering the tub would slowly fill with water. When I called down to the front they said they'd have the maintenance man come look at it in the morning. They did, but it did not solve the problem. I'd rate this hotel at a 4.8 stars ?
Rooms: Rooms were clean and cozy
Nearby activities: They have bike paths and canoeing available
Walkability: Great walking path and biking
Food & drinks: Lots of options near by

So, the hotel appears to be right off the highway. It's not. You have to go about 12 miles to get to it. It's a nice clean hotel and pet friendly. We enjoyed the little bar they have while we watched the game. The bartender very friendly.

Nothing special or too bad about it. The location has a construction site next to the building. It has a feeling of in "out of no where" .

Our first impression was that it seemed weird a hotel was at the end of a street with no other businesses--only houses. Having used an online service to book our room, check-in and check-out were rather quick. We were surprised that parking was across the street in a gravel lot, rather than in a paved lot. When we first got in our room, we thought it was cool to have a view of the river and see trains going by behind it. It was not so cool at night, though, when we tried to sleep. It seemed like 50 or more trains went through--and they were noisy, from the cars bumping to the engines blowing their horns repeatedly. My grandchild thought all the noise from the trains was a storm coming through, so we didn't get much sleep at all. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom had an adequate supply of towels, as well as soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower, soap and a box of tissues on the counter, and a hair dryer below the counter. One annoying thing was the sliding door on the bathroom--not only did it not have a lock on it for privacy, but the rollers were rather loud and kept waking people during the night, when someone had to get up to use the bathroom (the door was also hard for a child to open). I opted to sleep in the upholstered chair in the room, as I cannot sleep in a flat bed and did not want to sit up in a bed all night, while someone else was lying flat next to me. I found the chair to be very uncomfortable, as it was on the hard side (a recliner would have been nice--or a softer chair with a footstool to put my feet on while sleeping, as the end of the bed was too high to prop my feet up on). The pool was small but nice. The chairs around it did not feel very sturdy for our larger guests to sit in. I believe I saw a washer and dryer near the pool, a room with kayaks and bicycles to rent, and a room with gym equipment. The continental breakfast was so-so, in my opinion. The cooked eggs tasted like powdered eggs, and the sausage links were tolerable. There was a belgian waffle maker with two types of batter available. There were also small muffins, bagels, mini donuts, and bread; boiled eggs, two brands of yogurt, fresh fruit (apples, oranges, and bananas), and 3 types of dry cereal in dispensers (I believe it was raisin bran, fruit loops, and one other). There may have been other foods, but those are the main ones I remember. If you are into eating lots of carbs, you would probably enjoy the breakfast. As for me, I prefer more protein that is real, hot, and tasty--real scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, pork sausage, bacon, etc.). Beverages available were white milk, almond milk, coffee, and juice (I believe). Down the hall, there are vending machines where you can find an assortment of other foods and beverages (if you didn't like what was available for the free continental breakfast) and you can self-check-out with a credit card. The soft drinks were $2.22 each, but I don't know what anything else cost. Weather permitting, there are chairs and tables outside to enjoy your food at, while looking at the river and watching the trains go by.

Has potential, staff needs retraining in customer service and addressing problems. No Internet/WiFi and they acted like it was my fault. Had to address it three times and sort of fixed it. Great breakfast, near hiking/bike trail, river and sights to see. Great places to eat nearby and several historic sites nearby as well. Also be aware parking is across the street and not paved. And they are building a bar next door. It will increase noise and parking issues.

We visited here this past summer & I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve never been in a small town like this area but I felt safe walking around during the day to go to the park or to visit the shops and restaurants along Crawford ave (a short 10 min walk). The hotel & rooms were clean, the staff were kind, and the complimentary breakfast was simple but fulfilling. There was ample parking in a gravel lot right in front of the hotel. Spending the mornings by the river was so refreshing! And if you’re ever at the park in the morning Youghiogheny Coffee Co. serves excellent coffee!
