I brought my kitty (Georgia) in for her rabies update. The girls where amazing and the sweetest people! Georgia is particular about who she lets handle her but she was such a good girl today. I won't go anywhere else from now on.

When I got my new kitten here it was amazing! All the cats are healthy and get their vaccines, ect ect.. the adoption was so easy!

You can just tell the moment you walk in that these people truly care, the cats are just free to roam and have large spaces to do so whether in the lobby, in the room or in the patio, lots of toys and things for them to do. Usually shelters make me feel sad or "I wish I could save them all" type of feelings but I didn't get that feeling at all just that these cats/animals are loved whether for a short time or a long time.

The staff is excellent! True compassion for their job. Friendly and helpful in allowing us time to see the cats and encouraged us to come back a couple of times to make sure it was a good fit.

I recently moved to Columbia and had a cat come up to my back door and try to come inside. After a few days of this I brought her into my home. My older cat did not mesh well with her and instead of stress him out by keeping her I reached out to Columbia animal shelter. They assured me that they would take her and find her a great home! I dropped her off the next day (surrenders are Tuesdays and sundays) and was amazed by the facility itself! There was indoor and outdoor areas for the cats to choose where they wanted to be and there were a few senior cats free roaming through the waiting area. Even if a cat spends their entire lives at this shelter it would still be a beautiful life. The energy in the place is calm and serene and the staff encourages the neighborhood to come and visit with the cats. If you are looking for a cat I highly highly recommend this place!!!

Very affordable to get your pet the care they need. Yesterday I got my cat neutered, rabies shot, flea treatment & dewormed for only $130. They even gave me pain medicine for him for a few days. The shelter cats have a screened-in catio/sun room by the entrance where they can get fresh air & go back inside through cat doors where they were chilling in their cat beds or doing whatever they want since they are not kept in cages. I was really impressed with the quality of life they are giving these homeless pets.
