I live close to your facility in Landsdale. I was driving a few months ago and I saw what appeared to be a company picnic/gathering. I witnessed people laughing, talking, eating and just having a good time. With the way the world and the political climate is today, coupled with the dysfunction between businesses and employees. It was nice to see that your company values its employees and I just think it was a good way to go moving forward. Keep up the great work that you are doing and always remember customers and employees first.

Two Dorman products purchased thru Rock Auto. A set of CV axles for a 08 4Runner and a pair of license plate (light-sockets) wiring harnesses for a Ram pick up. Both products failed causing extensive repair bills to fix. CV axles failed 1.5yr after purchase and install. License plate wiring harness about a 1yr. after purchase and install. CV's failed on a road trip/vacation. One was catastrophic failure, the other was starting to fail by inspection of mechanic. Wiring harness failed, shorted out circuit leading back to dash. Never again from Dorman and Rock Auto. Try to contact Rock Auto...e-mail only...might as well be snail mail...toooo much time involved. Dorman....they point you back to seller of their product for warranty claim...for THEIR product...total run around. Never again for either Rock Auto or Dorman. Price at the expense of quality....not a good bet!

This is a good place. I'm sure they're good for the local economy. They are doing big things in the aftermarket auto parts industry.

Support After the Fact. We attempted to install a set of the Duralast end links on our 2020 Connect. But the links (made by Dorman) did not fit or articulate correctly. Even getting lodged between the coil springs and the firewall. Dorman Spokesman wanted to make it up to us by offering a premium set of end links. Although those links will fit correctly, We had to decline because another manufacture sent us a set of their links.

During January 2021, I purchased Dorman lug nuts for my Mission snowmobile trailer. I installed them using a quality torque wrench and socket. At this time I did notice that during the install that some of the chrome may have come came off the lug nuts. I am not totally sure if the chrome came off during this normal install or from the environmental effects. Either way chrome should not be missing. This spring I noticed that the lug nuts were severely rusted in the areas that were missing chrome. This should not have happened and I attempted to return the lug nuts to my local O’Reilly auto parts store. The representative told me that the product carried a one year warranty and they would not replace them. I decided to look into the product further which led me to your website. I spoke with your technical support and was told that the product had a limited lifetime warranty. Your representative told me to contact O’Reilly and inform them of this. O’Reilly told me that they do not honor the limited lifetime warranty. I am not sure why and I am not sure why you do not require them to do so. I do however request that you do honor your limited lifetime warranty as stated on your website. If a manufacturer/distributor states that a product carries a limited lifetime warranty then that will influence a consumers decision on whether to purchase a product or not and ethically the warranty must be honored. The logistics of the warranty should not be an issue. If my car has a three year warranty but the dealer doesn’t want to replace a part then I expect the manufacturer to make good on the issue

If I could give less than 1 star I would, I own an Auto repair shop and get more defective parts than I do good ones, not to mention, quite often the dealer is less expensive. This Honda VVT valve lasted 30 minutes. I almost tore the engine apart thinking it was the variable cam gear. Thank god I'm smart enough to recognize bad quality, and remembered all the other defects from Doorman and sure enough the housing blew apart and oil pressure snuck passed and was unable to activate the VVT system...Good job Doorman!
