I have been bringing my dogs here for 8 years, and I think the world of this whole practice. No matter which vet I see, they go over everything thoroughly, and always call to follow up and check in after procedures. Their quotes are always on point and I’ve never been asked to pay more than the quote. When I book an appointment, they ask if I have a preferred vet, but I don’t need to ask for a specific person because I am confident they are all amazing. The techs and front desk are always patient and friendly too. Highly recommend this practice!

It was hard to find a good vet - we have guinea pigs and most area vets either wouldn't see them or had one doctor in once a week who could see them. Colmar has always treated them with as much care and importance as any dog or cat. We just lost one, and everyone we dealt with while making "final arrangements" was so kind. We wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend them!

I had to switch vets and brought my giant oaf here sometime within the last year, when I left our 1st visit I told myself I just had to leave a review. They handle my dog with such caution, but care, and are so thorough. Polar opposite of the usual "we're scared, let's get him in and out of here" or "we can't examine him" we've encountered elsewhere. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have an entire staff of people truly LISTEN when you explain your dog's disposition and actually take this into account when meeting your dog. I realized when picking up a prescription a few days ago that I never left the review. I believe Dr Walker is who we see. Everyone is so professional and patient. This line of work can be thank-less sometimes and I want every person, from arrival to departure, to know they make a difference and are highly valued.

We have been going to this vet for several years. The vets are the best around. We especially love Dr. Shelley and Dr. Platt. They take such good care of our pets.

Just called 230 on a Monday to set up an appointment as a new patient. Not sure why your receptionist is so combative about verbiage. I called saying I was a new patient that wanted to set up an appointment and she asked if I had ever been there before to which I said no that’s why I mentioned I’m setting up an appointment as a new patient. She responded again, argumentative and snarky, as if what I asked, wasn’t correct. Lol Decided to just hang up and choose a different vet. You need to watch your attitude, that’s not the kind of thing that would make me want to bring any of my animals to you.

So happy to have found Colmar Veterinary Hospital and had an A+ experience with Dr. Walker and her assistant. The facility is clean, lobby large (helps w my reactive dog) and front desk excellent. Thank you!

Caring staff, very informative doctors and also caring and very friendly. Glad to call this place my 2 girls vet. Highly recommend and they work with you financially.

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. They have an amazing staff from the front desk to the techs to the vets..... I just had to take my new rescue there for an infected spay and they took me right away and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I am so glad I found them. A+++++

I am so happy my dog is a patient with the Colmar vet clinic! Around 6pm tonight my dog unfortunately was injured in her eye from playing fetch with a stick, I called in and they said to bring her in at 6:30pm as they had an opening and wanted to check her out, I was out of the appointment by 6:45pm with eye drops and meds to help the pain! She is already doing so much better. Thank you colmar vet for keeping me and my dog happy, calm and safe!! ❤️ I highly recommend the staff here, my dog is my child and they treat her like that as well!

We recently had to put down our family dog and we are so grateful for Dr. Walker. She made herself available to answer all of our questions throughout the dog's illness and treated our dog as if she were hers. I've known Dr. Walker for a very long time and drive 1.5 hours for my new dog to see her. Dr. Walker is brilliant and has a very compassionate bedside manner that can be so difficult to find nowadays.
