“Two weeks ago my Kings Charles Cavalier's health declined seriously in the middle of the night. He had been suffering from from neuropathy in his back legs and he now had a temperature and was yelping in pain. From the moment we walked in to VEG on Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Dr. Megan and her team of nurses treated us with such love and were so comforting. She listened and gave me the options for moving forward. Finnegan was at the end and we decided to put him to sleep. It was a heart wrenching decision and my sweetie died in my arms. They also arranged a cremation package - ashes, footprint and hair lock - that arrived a few days later. To have such wonderful people with you when you make end of life decisions for your pet is so heart warming. Thank you all so much for your kindness and understanding. With gratitude. Renee Jones”

“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

“We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. “Dr. Kwon just blew my mind with his vet skills. I have never seen my dog act so calm at a vet before. As soon as Dr Kwon came into the room, he sat on the floor to greet my dog. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and then did NOT try to nickle and dime me at the end like my last vet did.
All around a great place to go with a super friendly staff.”

“Media Vet was very responsive to our concerns about Mickey's dental issues. We were able to be seen quickly, then in short order, records were sent for cardiac testing and Brianna and Dr. Atherton answered many requests regarding medication and his surgery. Dr. Atherton even added time to her day to add him to a surgery schedule without waiting for an opening. Knowing a pet is suffering is so difficult and it means a lot that Media Vet cared about this little guy! We are so grateful for your help.”

“My regular veneration closed permanently and I needed a med refill for my older cat. The doctor at Bywood squeezed us in for a quick evaluation so he could go over his records and assume authorization on refills. That's compassion. Everyone at the desk is super nice and my only surprise was when I saw the bill and how reasonable the total was. I did some growling under my breath over the years at other vet bills. Bywood is a great find!”

“My wife and I came in with our pet holland lop and Dr Goodman provided exceptional care with the check up and we learned a lot about our rabbit from head to tail in a very thorough fashion. We had no idea that rabbit’s molars develop spurs from chewing and Dr Goodman was able to identify this problem and resolve the issue and make our rabbit happy again- we will definitely be back.”

“When I was a kid, I grew up in farm country - the idea that we would take our dog to get physical therapy would have gotten me laughed out of the state. But it exists, and if your furry family member needs it, this is the place to go. Definitely a Total Wellness center - our dog's life is going to be so much improved after using WAG. I'm kind of oversimplifying it, but they are really knowledgeable about all aspects of what your pet needs, from the aforementioned physical therapy to proper medications or surgery, to both home treatments and in gym exercises. And they are very aware and glad to discuss the costs which is wonderful in Any medical situation. A top-notch staff and facility- highly recommend it!”
“The staff at wissahickon have been amazing dealing with me and my helicopter pet mom ways! My cat, Romeo would probably not bring alive if it wasn't for Dr. Yard's suggestion to go the Metropolitan Veterinary for his IBD. Romeo is currently dealing with a respiratory infection and arthritis and the doctors and staff have been so patient with me emailing them almost every day.
