Our propane company just switched from Harris to Scully. They came out yesterday, unexpectedly, to refill our tank with no notice. We were at 48% full and they left a $500 bill. I called them and asked why they even came at all and they gave me some story about "being in the area so we topped you off." I told them not to come next time unless our tank is at 25% or lower (as our previous company did). It seems like a scam to me, especially since it’s almost summer. Not a good way to treat new customers.

Dennis Rambone has gone above and beyond to square everything away with the Harris Propane to Thompson Gas. Katy has also been very helpful as well and she too has made sure my account is all straightened out. Delivery Drivers for my area are very nice.

Scully purchased or merged with Harris propane our existing provider . Took first delivery from new company and it was smooth and simple . They answered the phone quickly and were very friendly. I am glad the service remains the same.

I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my 40 gallon propane delivery. First request was on 2/19. Heard nothing from this company. Second requestwas on 2/21, also asking for confirmation of the requests. By Friday, 2/23, I was still wondering if anyone was even receiving my messages. I finally decided to go to their online form and submit a request for a delivery that way (3rd time). A message was left on my voice mail 90 minutes later. "Hi Miss Olson, this is Thompson Gas and you have been routed for delivery on February the 24th, hope this helps some". No such delivery was received, no phone call as to why and now my tank was completely empty.I submitted another online form (4th) Monday morning, 2/26 asking why I still didn't have propane. No communication from the company all day Monday or on Tuesday. I called AGAIN on Wednesday, 2/28 (5th) around 12:30 pm and actually spoke with someone about my multiple requests for a 40 gallon propane delivery. I also told them that my tank had been empty since Saturday when my original delivery had been scheduled. The man I spoke with had no idea what had been happening with my account and couldn't understand why I was so angry. I explained again that I have had NO HOT WATER FOR 4 DAYS due to his company's incompetence. He asked for my name and pulled up my account. He proceeded to tell me I had been scheduled for a delivery on Thursday, 2/29. "You know Ma'am, our deliveries are out almost 10 days right now." No, I didn't know because no one ever called and said anything in regards to it and currently I'm on day 12 since my first request. No response or apologies given.So for 5 days straight, anytime hot water was needed (meaning no showers, only baths), I/we had to boil a pot of water to do it.If you're consideringcalling this company to supply your propane, just think about all the tasks you do in one day using this gas then multiply it by five. That's how long they think is okay to leave their customers with an empty tank. Five days without hot water is ludicrous and unacceptable, by any stretch of the imagination. My delivery was finally done by 2:30 pm on Thursday, 2/29 (according to the invoice slip) almost 14 days later.There's no way I would recommend Scully Propane/Thompson Gas to anyone..ever. Good luck in your search for any company that isn't "short-staffed".

Highly recommend Scully Propane. They are always notify us prior to delivery, their drivers and office staff are very polite and their pricing is competitive. Best company I have used.
