I called to get a name of a manager whose name escaped me for a work reference. The woman who answered my call said hello, as I asked if this was Hallmark. She then hung up on me, I called back and double checked number with the same, " hello" from her. I asked if this was Hallmark, she rudely said yes and again hung up on me. I called back and asked to please speak with the store Manager, she rudely said she was the Store Manager. I asked for her name, she again with attitude said she didn't have to give me her name. I told her I don't know why your being so unprofessional, as I was confused why she didn't answer the call with the store greeting. I told her all I wanted was the name of a previous Manager I had worked for, for a work reference. She with attitude gave me the name as well as hers, then hung up on me for the 3rd time. In all my years in retail, I have never been greeted with the unproffessionalism as I had with her. Honestly I was shocked she was a store Manager who disrespected her store, as well as myself. I do hope this will be addressed and her basic customer service skills are revisited by a District Manager.

It's a good'ole Hallmark Card Store. Besides all sorts of greeting cards (and I mean varieties and prices), they offer gift items for all occasions, chocolates, Christmas ornaments, etc.Make sure you sign up for their rewards program to earn points for discount coupons, receive sales ads and a free monthly greeting card.

This was the most bizarre customer service experience I've ever had. I went in to purchase three greeting cards and when I went to check out, I'm not sure the staff member even worked there. I thought someone was playing a prank on me. The employee didn't make eye contact once, couldn't log into the register, and then proceeded to just shrug and say I can't help you today. No apology, no attempt to call anyone or fix the register issues. I honestly feel bad for the franchise owner since you had two more hours to be open that day and you clearly did not make a single sale with this woman in charge. I love Hallmark and everything the store carries but, again, have never had such an awkward experience in a retail setting.

Slow and unfriendly staff. Something as simple as picking up an online order turns into a very complicated situation. They also don't accept returns on ornaments (an individual store policy). I'll go to Wegmans to get cards. Avoid this place

I made an online purchase of a Christmas ornament. I came in the store and picked up the item and left. Today I was told that they don’t accept ornaments for return after Christmas. They said that there were signs all over the store but I was never told that when I picked up the online order and nowhere on the website does it say that policy. Nowhere on my online receipt does it say that policy. The cashier and the manager said that it was the policy but couldn’t explain why it would make sense to not accept returns. I purchased other items in the transaction and was only returning this item and I am a regular customer. When I called the Hallmark customer service 800 number, they explained that this was an INDIVIDUAL STORE POLICY and agreed that it didn’t make much sense to not issue a return and issued me a return from their end. This is just a way for Norman’s Hallmark to take yourmoney. It’s a bad business practice towards a consumer who supports locally owned businesses like this place

The store clerk assisted me in picking up a wonderful First Wedding Christmas ornament. I got a free date book and a nice be kind towel for 1.99 so cool. I have coupon for when I go back to use.

To me this is a true Hallmark experience. Such a great variety of gift ideas, the cards are all perfectly straight and in order , and it was so much fun looking at all the new ornaments for this year! I purchased my first for this year which is part of the brilliant butterflies series, a gift for my daughter each year. They have a lot of the covid guidelines in place and make you feel very comfortable shopping here. I travel from Newtown Square to go to this store.
